Amazing experience

Me and my extended family visited Palmwoods Retreat last weekend. And we had an amazing experience to explore this beautiful place!
This is an agro resort well surrounded by trees and nature. The owner has surely put in immense painstaking effort to landscape and at the same time create a rustic environment.
Due to so many trees, we experienced cool weather throughout during our 3 day stay. For us folks hailing from Mumbai, this was a pleasant change and great time to recharge!
The resort has individual villas with a porch which our family loved. The meals happen at a scenic riverside front. The meals are as good as home cooked and served with extreme attention to detail. For example, they ensure that menu options are not repeated for each set of checked-in tourists, indicating their customer centricity.
In the evenings our family also enjoyed many activities like bullock cart ride, badminton, archery, rifle shooting and even rain dance that is available. The activity/game room was our favourite spot as we played pool, table tennis, carrom and foosball. A buggy ride service is available on call (due to the large area of the resort). Our kids who are cycling enthusiasts, also made use of the cycles available to travel from one place to another.
There are many picturesque spots for clicking pictures too.
Cleanliness was maintained at all places at all times. Strategically placed bins ensure littering is a a serious offence here
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Well as for us, we are planning another trip soon

Visit for a relaxing quiet time

Nice quiet and serene place on the banks of a River. Facilities are good, outdoor and indoor games, bicycles walking place etc. Quietness of the place was its strength. Food was a bit spicy, but the villas need somewhat better upkeep. There are no hangers in the bathroom for example, and the sofa is rather hard to sit.

Awesome

It's an amazing serene place away from the city, full of dense plantation.... They have huge property with farming fields. Very well planned and well maintained. We stayed in one bedroom bungalow. The room was too good. Clean and up to date with king size bed with nice decor. They have a sitout area... But hardly get time to sit outside as such. All the toiletries and tea coffee sachets etc were kept in enough quantity which would comfortably suffice the pax without even asking for them single time.
Food is too good. And is served besides the lakes area which is very calm. They have activities like horse riding bullock cart badminton shooting bow nd arrow etc on a lawn... It's entertaining for kids. They have many good bicycles, and a decent track to ride them...we enjoyed cycling a lot. They have a pick up drop facility by buggy or car inside the property which is very comforting too. Staff is courteous, calm and nice too. So we actually could feel that entire calmness during our stay.
Suggestions:- they must keep first aid box. Fruits, fruit juices for Breakfast and salad like cucumber tomatoes etc for the lunch should also be served. Missed these.

A beautiful place near Pune.

We stayed in 2BR villa in September 2024. The place is full of greenery well maintained, clean and spacious rooms equipped with all required amenities. Food is delicious with adequate variety.The riverside eating area is very scenic.
All staff is very helpful and cooperative always ready to give assistance.
Overall a very satisfying and happy experience.

A very well spent weekend gateway near Pune.

Very well placed property, sprawling across multiple acres of plantations and on the bank of Mula river. All Villas are very well maintained and spread across so no occupants disturb each other. Good quality is good and portions are enough.
