A beautiful character building with a lot of charm. Choosing a balcony suite at the front is totally worth it. The hotel staff were neither friendly nor rude but just came across as indifferent but not what I’m used to when dealing with hospitality employees. But then mostly everyone I interacted in Pondicherry seemed like that so it must be a regional thing. There was no daily housekeeping which also seemed odd. Despite these things, I would stay here again solely for the charm of the building and convenient location. Just two short blocks to the ocean.

Great place to stay

Great place. Would love to go again. Beautiful rooms, all facilities are available. Location is close to all major tourist destinations in Pondicherry. The swimming pool is well maintained and clean. The bathrooms do not have doors so makes it tough if you have two friends sharing the room but except for that it’s a great place. The people maintaining the property are very friendly and warm.

Enjoy your stay in Pondicherry

Very pretty hotel in the heart of the white city, ideally located. The staff are charming and the rooms are very clean. The only downside is that the bathroom needs to be completely overhauled (for this category of hotel) and the bedding needs to be replaced urgently.
