Average Stay- Good Host
The place itself is approx 2.5 kms from the main market and the walk to and fro is quite charming. But if you have senior citizens or children it can get tiring for them if you do not have a vehicle with you. The place doesn't have a direct mountain view but some rooms will give you a partial view.
We had booked a family room and it was exactly the way it is shown in the pics. It was just our misfortune that it rained heavily in the evenings for both the days that we were in Pahalgam. To add to this we landed on the eve of Id, so all the staff was on leave and Irshad was the lone person attending to our needs. So never got to taste any lunch or dinner. The breakfast though came both the days. For food/tea in the evening we had to depend on a Dhaba just nearby.
While there were enough blankets provided by Irshad, the room was very cold through out the stay. There was unfortunately no provision for electric heater or electric blanket . Perhaps we should have asked these questions before booking.
So overall an average stay. However this has got nothing to do with Irshad's abilities. He is a fine young man trying to manage the show with limited manpower in those 2 days.
