Magical Homestay in Mysore

I cannot say enough about Gitanjali. We stayed there with family and it was a perfect place to reconnect with each other. The service is spectacular and the gardens are so beautiful. The rooms feel like you’re staying in a home not a hotel and the mattresses and pillows were so comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean. The food for breakfast is some of the best we’ve eaten in Mysore. We highly recommend this magical place :)

A peaceful refuge.....

We had a fantastic three nights at Gitanjali in early March. It is a fantastic refuge from the bustle outside. Very relaxing and comfortable, but close enough to get to the city centre in only 10 minutes or so. A special mention for the breakfasts, which were magnificent, with coffee from the owners' own estate. The staff were lovely and the owners fascinating to talk to. Very highly recommended.

Peaceful and beautiful environment

Very nice place not far from the center of Mysore. A small haven of peace where ecology is omnipresent. Warm and kind welcome. The rooms are comfortable.

5* B & B experience in Mysuru

We thought we were in heaven, staying for two weeks in deep country in Karnataka: but inevitably we had to leave and become tourists. We certainly chose the right place, five nights in a beautiful spacious en suite opening onto a paradise garden. Gitanjali has just five rooms, and the most delicate unobtrusive service: perfect for re-entering the real world, and still only ten minutes from the centre of Mysuru. Yamuna is a wonderful host and an excellent concierge too, arranging wonderful home cooked dinners to be delivered, the nicest tiktok driver for exploratory outings, recommending restaurants and onward travel. Lovely!

A delight

Gitanjali is so charming and the host family are delightful. Yamuna could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The rooms are very spacious and clean. And the food is wonderful
