Safe for solo-travelling women and well maintained

This was a last minute stay that I had booked with the property. The place is well maintained and clean. The room was spacious and the bathroom was neat.
The staff is also very supportive in helping you get to places. It is about a kilometre or less from the railway station, so very convenient. The hotel organized its own auto driver to drop me off late night.
The pricing is very good at less than 3k a night.
CONS:
1. Location: other places for alternative food items or temples, or experiencing the local culture is not nearby. You will have to walk a kilometer and a half to get to the main road for the vegetarian hotel and Smart Bazaar supermarket.
2. Food service: Except for tea or coffee, there were no snacks or light eats available in the afternoon. I was hungry since I hadnt had lunch and unfortunately the place had nothing to offer either. Dinner was really late service at 7:45 pm due to a thin crowd.
3. Wifi is spotty and most likely will not be stable.

Clean place!

Been to this place when it was new almost 4 years back.
They have maintained the place well but the bed linen could've been better. Found a few stains, didn't take pics though.
They have spacious rooms with King size bed which is a plus. We were on the 3rd floor and it was ok. There are mosquitoes so carry a mosquito repellent cream. If you want a toilet roll, good have to ask for one.
We checked in around 9 Pm and the restaurant was closed by then. So be prepared to go a little out to grab dinner.
We didnt get to taste the food at the restaurant, so no comments there!

Nice place to stay

Its a nice and very neat place to stay. 24 hrs check in and also check in was smooth. Staffs and Services are good. It is located in very nice location, very peaceful location. Free breakfast but it is not up to the mark.

Beauriful hotel and well maintained

Thanks for MGT to build this beautiful hotel in small/ heritage town. The clean room and tasty breakfast and kudos to front desk team to serve us better in all aspects. We will come back soon to visit our friends again

Best place to stay in Karaikudi

If you are planning for a trip to Karaikudi, Just go ahead and book this place.. No second thoughts.. Clean & comfy rooms, in house restaurant, very friendly staffs. Took my wife and kid for attending a marriage..planning to visit the town very soon and this would be my place of stay again..keep up the good work guys..you have a very satisfied customer who will surely pass on the good word around..
