Kashmir through Packages
My Overall feedback would be very poor, and the following would be the reasons. We encountered several problems during the trip, and the services provided were not on par with the package cost and fell far short of our expectations. So let me make this clear, we booked a package from Kiomoi, and they picked us up from the Jammu Airport.
The drivers assigned to us were very polite, and the driving was pretty decent, but we faced issues with the staff, the planning, and the internal coordination.
On the first day, as mentioned, there was supposed to be a shikara ride, which did not happen, and we had to pay for that additionally.
The brochure mentioned that the transport vehicle would give us a ride to Aru Valley, Betab Valley, and Chandanwari. It did not mention if only Chandan Wari requires a local taxi or all three of them; this info wasn't given in the call, either, nor was the additional info, like the range of cost for the local taxis.
The staff, like the driver Haroon, have tie-ups with other guides or drivers or locals who together have cost us a lot; we practically had to face cheating and fraud in every single place.
We missed the Saffron fields and the Shikara ride on the last day as well.
As the host, the company should have given us some insights on the locals, how they persuade tourists, the fare for local taxis, the range for bargains, etc. The staff that was assigned as the driver played a role in the entire thing, where we were cheated multiple times.
And one of the most important things to be kept in mind is that planning a trip on your own is way better than taking packages. Use your own vehicle or rent a vehicle after going there.
Another thing to keep in mind is Bargaining. You will not believe how much bargaining you ought to do, or you'll be looted. The locals and the shopkeepers sell products 5x or more the actual price, and if you bargain, you will benefit, except that the problem here is that not everyone bargains, and it is not possible to bargain everywhere, all the time, constantly.
The rooms were supposed to be heated, but all they provided was a bed heater, which was not very comfortable.
The travel and the journey are worth watching, but some things will make it annoying and a loss.
And hence our Overall feedback is on the lower side when it comes to the locals and the package, but on the better side if it is about the scenic beauty.

Good service
It is situated within heart of city .Room service very good & fast. The staff is very humble,polite and cooperative . I had a great experience from here keep doing good work always and also all the best for your feature thank you guys lovely visit and lovely hotel in Jammu and Kashmir will forword the location with our friends they will definitely visit with family thank you so much

The best holiday
Amazing place,nice food . We were here for vacation and really enjoyed it. Appreciated the staff work, very professional. The room was big enough even more comfortable. We will surely visit again thank you.

Very comfortable stay.
It is very nice and comfortable stay . This property is very near to all major market in jammu. This hotel have all facility . Bar restaurant. Staff and management is very nice . This hotel is worth of money.
