Had a great experience in the hostel as well as desert camping was best. Met great and friendly People. Everyone please do visit

A nice hotel-cum-hostel with a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, staff was polite, and the atmosphere felt safe and friendly. Good option for both solo travelers and families. Value for money.

More than just a business transaction

We stumbled upon Nawab while searching for a desert safari and were immediately drawn to his warm welcome. We decided to book with him because he wasn't pushy and took the time to explain everything. His professionalism and passion for his work were truly impressive for his young age.
To our delight, Nawab personally guided us on our safari adventure. Back in town, we continued to bond and were even lucky enough to share a meal and sleep under the stars on his hotel rooftop.
More than just a business transaction, Nawab puts his heart into his relationships. We cherished our final moments in Jaisalmer, relaxing in his company.
While the safari itself was enjoyable, and the hotel offered comfortable accommodations and delicious food, the true gem of our experience was Nawab himself.

Very nice stay

My stay at Hotel Dara was really very pleasant. The staff are all extremely friendly and the chef has conjured up very delicious dishes. The room was nicely decorated and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located directly at the fort and you have a great view from the rooftop of the fort, especially in the evening spectacular to look at.
Also great was the camel safari and the night in the desert, which the owner kindly organized for me, a unique experience.
I would definitely come back, it all fit. Thanks to the whole hotel team and the camel guide!

Lovely place to stay for couples

We had a lovely stay for 11 nights, which we extended from our original 7 day trip. The owner Nawab and the staff were very helpful and friendly during our stay and it was much appreciated as we were on bedrest for some days. When we arrived the owner wasn’t there yet but when he arrived couple days later he greeted us with a beautiful complimentary dinner on the rooftop accompanied by a bonfire and a sky full of stars. Our room was also upgraded to a bigger one free of charge which was a pleasant surprise.
We went to the camel safari through Naweb and was amazed by the tour, it was very well organized and felt authentic. Only thing that felt unnecessary were the first couple stops on the way to the actual dunes but that didn’t really affect the trip. Riding camels was a blast and the serenity of the desert was unmatched, would even recommend doing 2 nights instead of 1.
Special thanks to the restaurant staff for providing us food nearly any time of the day to our room.

Best desert experience in Jaisalmer

I went on a desert safari with Dara. It was an extraordinary experience, out of time. We reached the camp in the desert with the camels and spent a night under the stars The meal was delicious
The Inn is also perfect, the welcome is very warm and the rooms are very comfortable.

Fui has a safari por el desierto con Dara. Fue una experiencia fuera de lo común, fuera del tiempo. Our unimos al campamento en el desierto con los camellos y pasamos una noche bajo las estrellas La comida fue deliciosa.
El hotel también es perfecto, la acogida es muy cálida y las habitaciones muy cómodas.
No lo dudéis, los safaris de Dara son los mejores de Jaisalmer.
Una experiencia que nunca olvidaré, gracias gracias gracias ❤️
