Superb time spent
I must say this is one of the finest budget hotels. This is a small 10 room hotel. Very nice linen used and sparkling clean towels. It is around two km from MG Road and can be reached within a few minutes by share cab which can be taken right at the hotel.
We stayed four nights at the hotel - three nights before North Sikkim Tour and fourth on the day we returned from North Sikkim. We took breakfast at the hotel on all four days we stayed there. They were good. And, out of four nights, we had dinner on three nights at the hotel. The cook made some seriously good Chinese items. We loved the Manchurian items.
The Manager helped us arrange the North Sikkim Tour and local tours. May and June are very busy seasons in Sikkim and transporters and travel agents blackmail guests with the rate of vehicles. We heard so many stories. But since we were there right at the beginning of May, it was a good experience for us. But we heard travel agents hiking rates for enquiries for later half of May and June. Anyway, the beauty of North Sikkim made us forget all these. So, must thank the Manager for arrangjng such a nice tril.
For us, we had no complaints. Staying at Siddanth Inn is worth its money. We highly recommend. The hotel has opened under a new management team after Covid. So, we wish them all the best.

Lovely & Comfortable stay
I stayed there for a night with my friend. I pity I did not stay here on all night stays in Gangtok. We stayed two nights at a hotel close to MG Marg and went to Pelling for two days. That hotel turned out to be such a shabby one. Just by being close to MG Marg, many hotels are way too shabby and yet charge more. We looked at a few more hotels before leaving for Pelling.
We decided to look to book some other hotel online. This is how we found Siddanth Inn. And, what a lovely hotel it turned out to in its price range. Surely the finest budget hotel we stayed at during our entire trip.
The hotel has so nice and clean rooms with very soft and sparkling linen and pillow. Duvet and duvet cover were so soft and clean. With nice and clean washroom, we felt pretty happy staying here. In addition, the food made by Ananda, the cook, was so nice. He makes so nice Chinese.
I have made up my mind that during my next trip to Gangtok while going for North Sikkim, we will stay here only.
Highly recommended budget price. Completely worth the money.
