Beautiful stop to make between JAIPUR and UDAIPUR.
A reception "like at home" by very nice hosts.

Much more than a hotel.
A beautiful house/home by a lake, comfortable rooms, perfect gardens, a refreshing pool, fantastic food , as good as any restaurant but home cooked, (they will ask for your preferences and things you would prefer to avoid), excellent and attentive service,always at hand, plenty of activities if you feel like, tranquillity to read a book or go for a walk if you want. And a wonderful family, charming, warm, intelligent, and more than anything, generous with their time, their house, their welcome, their conversation, the only time we were late for our driver was here, could not pull ourselves away from the breakfast table. But obviously, if you want privacy, they'll accommodate.
I think it is a perfect stop for 2-3 nights during a tour of India, helps you relax, gather your strength and digest everything you have experienced so far.
The village, by the way, feels not only safe, but extremely welcoming, we walked around the lake, even got lost, and were greeted with smiles and sometimes conversation everywhere.
Some additional things:
Despite being next to the lake and being very hot, we didn't suffer one single mosquito bite.
They employ local people, thus helping the village, in many cases women or somebody that may find difficult to get a job. As you can expect, not all of them speak perfect English, but they will all try and if they can't understand they will rush to find somebody. And they are all extremely attentive and eager to please.
The dogs are cute and well behaved, and if you are not keen (almost impossible) they will keep them away from you.
All in all, if we had our time again, we wouldn't doubt for a second.
And thank you all for a wonderful couple of days and the lasting memories.

A marvellous property, managed by an unmatched family who truly redefine hospitality.
If you genuinely wish to experience what true hospitality feels like, a visit to Deo Shree is a must. The property itself is beautifully designed and located beside a small yet charming lake, adding to its serene appeal.
However, what truly sets Deo Shree apart is the exceptional hospitality extended by the owner family. As someone who is fond of travelling and has experienced many fine properties, I can confidently say that the overall experience here is on a completely different level—far ahead of others.
The entire family is incredibly warm and welcoming, and their attention to every guest’s needs deserves special appreciation. The food served is sumptuous—delicious, homely, and thoughtfully prepared, which adds immensely to the comfort of the stay.
The staff is equally commendable—well-mannered, attentive, and genuinely guest-friendly. The safari experience is another highlight, made even more special with thoughtfully arranged drinks and snacks served at the top of the hill—truly unique and memorable.
