Nice Value, Very Clean, Friendly Staff

Nice value hotel in the heart of Fort Kochin town. Very clean rooms and property with helpful, friendly staff. Short walk to shops, restaurants and Kathakali folk performance theater. Tuc-tucs available very near, for pick up and ride to shopping district.

Horrible stay at this hotel. One star hotel and it's one star too many!

Not a good experience staying at this hotel. This hotel is One star and it’s one star too many!!!
The room I got as a solo traveller was not much better than what I perceive a prison to be like.
There was one tiny window in the bedroom, the window had bars on it
One towel was provided which was threadbare
The bed sheet was torn.
There was no hot water, unless you asked for it to be switched on
There was no shower curtain, so the water went everywhere and with only one towel it was impossible to dry the floor or find anywhere dry to stand on
There are no hangers in the wardrobe, I asked for some and was given one, so I had to beg for some more.
No kettle. No safe
No hair dryer, No fridge.
No toiletries.
The towel rail in bathroom was corroded.
Not a good experience at this hotel.
There was air con and ceiling fan and the internet signal was good.
Didn’t have breakfast, so can’t comment on the breakfast.

Good place to relax with tours

Pension well placed, clean with very professional staff and attentive to travelers. The rooms are quiet, ventilated and air conditioned. Very spacious common areas. The Pension is well placed to visit the old quarter

Comfortable hotel in a great location with exceptionally helpful staff

I stayed here whilst on a group tour of India, we had stayed here twice during the tour and I also opted to stay an extra night here once the tour ended as I was very happy with the service and the location is fantastic. The hotel is family run and you truly do feel welcome and supported, the staff are very kind and happy to genuinely help during your stay. The rooms are basic (as is most of accommodation in India) but comfortable, clean and contain all of the amenities needed. The A/C worked a treat and was very much needed in the Kochi heat. The location is the best part and my reason for staying an extra night, a very short walk from princess street containing shops and lots of delicious restaurants and a 100 rupee tuk tuk ride from Jew Town and the various attractions neighboring there. It is easy to get an Uber to the airport from here with one arriving in 5 minutes or less for a very reasonable price. The only negative comment I would say is the beds are quite hard, if you like a hard bed then great but it is also more than manageable for a short stay. Definitely recommend!

Terrible experience!! They lost our key.. They don't have a spare chianina or a paspartu!!! They accused us of having lost the key, but instead I had given it to reception... But the lady who had taken it never showed up again!
Furthermore: cold water, no WiFi in the rooms.. We had to move.. The fridge didn't work.. I exchanged it with the one in the other room!!!!
