This is by far the best hostel I have visited in Kolkata. There may be others but for now, this is a good place.

Deceptive. Not even close to what they have in pictures

The place has unhygienic washrooms, toilets, sheets are not clean. Rooms are like some government college hostel and blankets provided are below par. Even the ones provided by inox in insignia are of better quality than this. Don’t get fooled by the great reviews. My guess this they are all paid reviews.

Fulfil the need of your stay but expect no perks

Rooms were clean, washroom was clean. Decent place to hop on hop off.
No common area where you can hangout.
Staff at reception are not at all pleasant or have any hospitality experience.
They charged extra money from me for overstaying 30 mins, which has never happened in any of my other hostel stays.
Can't bring in your own liquor ? Like seriously

Nice vibe and staff very friendly, good value for money

It was a nice experience, staff is friendly, it feels safe and clean.
Beds a re comfortable but top bunker beds felt a bit unsafe and difficult to access.
Shower are missing shelves/ hooks to hold personal effects dry (toiletries, towel, clothes).
Should have water fountain at every floor.

Best Hostel Visted

Offbeat Bunkers though is new but they provide the best of hospitality with the most exciting facilities any hostel could ever hold.
Pub, Restaurant, Gaming zones, gym and they even conduct workshops.
