Average for the price

The Vintage is marketed as a 4-star property, but our overall experience did not quite match those expectations. We booked it for one night, primarily because accommodation options in Gulmarg are limited, with most alternatives either in a similar price range or significantly more expensive.
The rooms were comfortable but fairly average, and not particularly spacious. The overall property itself is also quite compact, with only a small garden and limited open spaces. While everything was functional and well-maintained, nothing particularly stood out as exceptional or memorable.
The dining experience was another area where we felt there was room for improvement. The breakfast spread was decent but fairly standard, and the food quality overall was average. What surprised us was the pricing, which felt quite high compared to the quality and variety offered.
Another point to consider is the location. While the hotel is situated in Gulmarg, it is not especially convenient for accessing the Gondola. Guests either need to walk a fair distance or hire a local taxi, which can add to the overall expense of the trip.
Overall, the property offers a reasonable stay, but given the room size, facilities, dining experience, and location convenience, we felt it was somewhat overpriced for what it provides. It is a decent option if you are looking for accommodation in Gulmarg, but the value proposition may not fully align with the rates being charged.

Surrounded by green meadows in heart of Gulmarg

The hotel location was extremely wow , surrounded by green meadows.Hospitality and room service along with room amenities were good.

Good location and surrounding were too good

Location wise its awesome and services were awesome.
Breakfast had a good option along with good quality of dinner.
Only thing they need to work on the maintenance since fan was broken if you will on it was spinning with its cover(which might have been fixed if we had a call with him) but its should be in good condition. Also they need to work on washroom & room cleaning since wall were not up to the mark.

An Absolute Gem

The hotel boats an absolutely stunning location. The rooms were really cozy and very well maintained. The restaurant was a real treat and almost every dish that we tried was a hit with the family. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The view from the balcony was just magical. We had gondola activities planned the day of our checkout. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and arranged for us to have our luggage kept with the reception while we checked out of the hotel and proceeded to the gondola.
