Ridiculous place
I travelled here with my family and had booked 2 rooms. I received a mail from mmt that my check in time is 11am. We reached the hotel at 12:45pm and still the rooms were not ready. On letting the reception know what mail I received - I was told that I might have out that time slot & their time is 12pm which had also passed. They offered us one room to begin with and said that it would take 30 mins for the other room to get ready.
1st room - looked fine, there were no towels, no drinking water, & no hot water in the bathroom as well. On asking for hot water and towels we were told that there no towels due to no laundry & no hot water due to some fault.
Now I kept reminding at the reception that a death took place in my family and we all need to rush and get ready, still they took an hour more to give us the 2nd room.
2nd room - as i entered I found there is someone elses luggage bag kept on the table, a shirt hanging in the wardrobe, socks drying on the taps, soaps were also not changed & obviously no towels (thankfully we had our own). Now coming to the condition of the room - it was worse. The walls were dirty & chipped, the wall cupboard wall was also chipped and full of damp, the bed had hair on it, there was a dirty used water bottle, the bathroom was chipped at places, the towel rack in the bathroom was rusty. This is after they having more than enough time to prepare the room.
Infact when I told the hotel staff about the shirt, socks & luggage bag, he had the audacity to tell me I haven't cleaned the room or the bathroom - so this means as a guest I am supposed to call the person who cleaned the room & bathroom separately to make a complaint. He also kept grumbling in anger (which I hardly could hear).
Even if the check in time was 12pm (which in this case it was 11am) the rooms should not have been in this condition.
Only the food was decent.

With the price
Hotel is situated in a compound with four more hotels but we found this hotel to be better among all the lot. The guy at reception was helpful and good to talk at. Breakfast was basic but OK. They have lift connecting all floors
Basically a budget property but in middle kg everything Prem pavitara bhojnalaya is just a bay across. Near old bus stand.
Overall I was satisfied by my stay in the Asoka hotel
