A definite highlight of our Indian tour!

We had a two day cruise as part of our India tour and, after three weeks on the road, our Bluejelly experience was such a welcome change! Our cruise boat was excellent, very well laid out, beautifully equipped, and had a great crew. Great rooms and well appointed bathroom. We benefitted from a gifted chef whose food was simply delicious. The scenery is so impressive, and we enjoyed the calm after the manic road traffic! The sunset canoe trip was an added bonus!! Thank you for such a lovely experience!

You must try it

It was a pleasurable experience. We had the whole boat for ourselves. Two chefs, one captain, and one helper. All these wonderful people gave us everything we needed to make our travel enjoyable. The rooms were air-conditioned. Then, we had lunch, dinner, and breakfast. The only thing was that the Internet was weak. Also, the food was delicious, but it was within Kerala cuisine only.

Bliss on the backwaters

We had an amazing experience on the Opal luxury house boat as we cruised for 1.5 days and 2 nights. We are a family of 5 and had the boat to ourselves with an amazing crew of Abhilash, Shiju (Chef), Thomas (Capt) & Abhilash (Capt). The boat was squeaky clean and had a fresh modern vibe. All amenities worked absolutely fine. Chef Shiju & Abhilash made some absolutely scrumptous local fare. Initially we were weary of the spice and flavours which could have been a bit overwhelming for the kids. But it all worked out well and to our surprise our children ate very well and so did we. We felt at home and were served extremely well by a most humble and gracious team.
If you love photography please bring your telephoto lens and you will have an absolutely amazing time shooting the birds. The sights along the backwaters are amazing of course. This was an amazing way to experience the backwaters.

Internet connectivity is poor and mobile data also is very unstable. So download before your board…

Sail like a maharaja

The vessel sails along the backwaters, moors at one point near a bunch of coconut trees; and berths overnight at the marina (which has a game room and swimming pool). Every meal was excessive in quantity but well cooked. Kudos to Chef Shaju who whipped up whatever we wanted ; Mr Bosco who makes the meanest Chais and Skipper Jose for a thoroughly enjoyable trip. We had the houseboat to ourselves and could hijack the JBL speakers found in the houseboat. Do note they stop by (at your option) a shop selling fresh seafood which the chef can cook for you - prices can be steep.
Excellent AC, four poster beds in room; toilet was a bit small. You sail like a maharaja.

A great experience

A fantastic 2 days of peace and tranquillity. My wife and I had a one bedroom boat with 3 crew members, a chef, a driver and someone who did everything else. They were fantastic, very attentive and very polite. The food was great but far too much of it. Don’t ask for the red wine because it is awful, the white is fine.
