Clean welcoming and stylish hotel.

I stayed here on a Saturday night in early February. Big rooms with new fittings and a very pleasant bathroom. There are two buildings and I stayed in the second one away from the street. Very quiet. Staff were lovely. Certainly close enough to the city centre to be convenient. Dog friendly.
The breakfast was also very good.
I highly recommend.

The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms are clean, and the location is quiet. I especially want to highlight the breakfast: the staff was kind and accommodating, and they provided us with a special breakfast based on our dietary needs – which we truly appreciated.
Unfortunately, we were overcharged in multiple ways:
Breakfast was charged 6 times, even though we were only two guests staying for 2 days – so it should have been 4 times.
We were charged for a more expensive wine than the one we actually ordered.
A 10% discount on food and drinks, which was promised to us, was not applied.
We were told on-site that we would receive a refund for these mistakes – but this never happened. Since then, all of our emails have been completely ignored.
It’s really a pity, because the stay itself was pleasant. But the way the hotel handled their billing mistakes and their lack of communication afterwards was completely unprofessional. That’s why, despite the positive aspects, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Check-in was frustratingly slow, requiring both our IDs and manually filling out a poorly photocopied form with the same information—something no other hotel has ever asked of us. We booked a premium room, but it was anything but: thick dust on surfaces, dirty hair dryer, fingerprints on the wallpaper, and unwashed coffee mugs. The towels smelled unpleasant, and despite a “sterile” label, the toilet seat still had water spots.
The view? Awful. Ground floor with a view of scattered construction materials and junk. Reviews mention it’s “for future enjoyment,” but clearly nothing has improved for months.
Checkout went smoothly, but beware: there’s a €15 fee if you leave after 10 a.m., which is a bit much for a place that can’t manage basic cleanliness. Would not recommend.
