4 day City break

City break to Budapest. Apartment was 20 munites from the Airport and shuttle bus dropped us very close to our location. 5 munites walk. The area had fantastic restaurants cafes ice-cream parlours,public transport and was ideal. We did a bike tour, a night time cruise on the Danube which I highly recommend, Zoo cafe, and the thermal baths. Every activity was a short tram ride or 5 to 10 munite walk away.

This and ASAP tickets are a SCAM!!!

Thieves!!! Stole money and as per all other reviews, they do not answer phone and do not refund. STAY AWAY!!! They took my elderly parents money and additionally they worked with ASAP tickets (another scam company, stay away!!) and asap tickets didn’t advise my parents this place had poor reviews… neither will refund my parents money. Stay away from both!!!

SCAM AVOID SCAM AVOID

SO NOT BOOK HERE. STAY FAR AWAY. Elderly parents booked this place for them and my nephews. Called and called for confirmation. No answer. Called the day of IN FRONT OF THIS PLACE WHEN THEY ARRIVED- no answer. Had someone else call from a Hungarian number in case. No answer. Emails and texts were sent to them. No reply. My parents had to find another hotel. They paid for this place and never received a refund from the owner. According to the owner, my parents only called once. Not true. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Lenard Hoffman (the manager) and whoever else that runs this place is just going to scam you. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I added two pics of phone calls made to this place. These are just to pics I have of many that show my parents tried to contact them.

STAY AWAY!

We'll be suing the owner and the company who book this room for us! On the arrival of a family with 2 kids, they didn't show up and we called them more than 15 times, . The property owner is a thief and a scammer. AVOID this place!

SCAM - FRAUD - DON'T BOOK THIS PLACE - SHOULD BE BANISHED

I was another victim. On April 2022 I booked this place through Hotels.com (Expedia Group GmbH). Two days before the stay, I received a confirmation email from the manager, a certain Mr. Lenard Hoffmann, informing me of a telephone number I should call upon arrival at the hotel for key delivery. In the day and time scheduled, I arrived at the address and called the informed number. After several calls, a rude man picked up the phone and said he couldn't receive me and that I should look for another hotel. On the same day, I formalized a complaint with Hotels.com. To my extreme disappointment, however, they answered me by e-mail that since the manager was holding on to his (fraudulent) version that I didn't show up, they couldn't allow free cancellation." They charged 194.29 euros in my card, in the name of a certain Sijak Nenad. I searched the name "Sijak Nenad" in Facebook and found a page under his name, in which one can see many posts advertising hotel rooms with the same pictures from the announcements made in Hotels.com. On the Facebook page one also finds comments written by other deceived consumers. It is outrageous that even in face of so much evidence that this place is committing fraud against consumers in a repeated, patterned, and routinezed way. Expedia Group GmbH not only is still allowing this hotel to advertise in its platform, but, even worse, it's accepting the hotel's fraudulent version of the events on face value in countless no-show cases.
I filed a complaint against Expedia Group GmbH in the ODR Platform of the European Commission to seek for a refund and will formalize a criminal complaint in the police against the place/manager.
