Great location very easy to get around from there. It was only on arrival I found out it the rooms were more like a hostel than a hotel. Been a while since ive shared toilets and showers but as it was a busy weekend it didnt really spoil it. Think the place would of been good value if it wasn't inflated price for f1 weekend.

I loved it at Dominik Panzio!

I rate my experience at Dominik Panzio as wonderful!
1. Good price for a private room with two beds with shared shower and toilet (30 euros per night). Booked in September for December, 3 months in advance. In December, at this price, it was impossible to find even a bed in a hostel in a room for 10 people. Best value-for-money combination.
2. The friendly staff. My plane arrived early and, subject to room availability, I was accommodated as soon as I arrived early in the morning.
Also allowed to keep things after eviction for free for the next day.
3. There is a kitchen with kettle, fridge, microwave, dishes. There's no cooker.
4. Everywhere, in all areas, cleaners clean every day. The shower and toilet repairs are fresh.
5. Convenient location, close to the center, conveniently take a straight line from Astoria by bus 5 stops. Buses run all night.
We need to know:
1) In addition to booking locally, you must pay additional city tax.
2) At night the hotel is locked to the key and to get inside you need to call the phone number (whatsup on the number) and wake the receptionist.
3) The walls are thin and the noise from the hallway is clearly heard in the room. For example, if the neighbors with the children are loud, or when the cleaners come in the morning, they make noise and talk very loudly. We'll need earplugs.

It’s ok for a base of you plan on just sleeping. I was a bit miffed to find out my room Had a shared bathroom and shower as it doesn’t mention it on the listing.
No tv in the room so it is literally a bed. Never tried to use the kitchen or cafe so cannot comment but all in all for a bed and a base to only sleep in it’s ideal for a solo traveller or two people.
I’d use again now I know what to expect

The room was very spacious and looked amazing, along with a nice view with curtains. Bathroom was wonderful and clean, would've been nice to have a small soap or so but handwash wuas there which other hotels don't usually provide so that was appreciated. The beds were very comfy and extra pillows and blankets were provided. Staff helped with questions whenever needed, with no major problems popping up during my weekend stay. Right next to a major bus stop which gives routes to the city's main areas. Thank you very much, would definitely visit again.

If you are an ASIAN don’t try to stay there!!!
Racist Receptionist (An old man)
When we do check in at that hotel, I told to him “Can we do early Check-in like around 11am or 11:30am?”. That racist man replied me aggressively “What is EARLY ?? I don’t understand your English” and look at me disrespectfully.
The location is not bad. But I did changed to another hotel in Budapest bcoz of the racism.
