One of the best hotels in Balatonfüred

The rooms are new and cozy with a fridge, air conditioner, and great lighting. The staff is professional, kind and helpful. The meals were great, we ate breakfast and dinner, both were delicious. The hotel was renewed, clean and tidy. Absolute favourite, highly recommended.

Never ever come here

Worst hotel I have almost ever been in. Insanely expensive, the staff cant speak english, laundry costs 200+ euros. The staff don’t know what they are talking about, we asked them what laundry costs and they said 20 euros. Turns out the laundry actually costed 100 times more. The rooms were smaller than a Smurf. The meal descriptions were unclear, and the food was mediocre. I would never recommend this for anyone. So overpriced, bad service and small rooms.

All members of our front office team communicate in English on a daily basis, and we have not received any similar feedback regarding language barriers.
We are also unable to verify the laundry charges you mention. During the entire month, our total laundry revenue was below €70, and we did not charge any guest an amount close to the €200+ stated in your review.
While we understand that room size and dining experiences are subjective, we would appreciate the opportunity to investigate your comments further. If you have indeed stayed with us, we kindly invite you to contact us directly with your stay details so that we can review the matter thoroughly.

I had a wonderful stay at Danubius Hotel Annabella in Balatonfüred. The location is absolutely beautiful—right on the lakefront and along the promenade, with easy access to shops, cafés, and restaurants. It truly doesn’t get better than this setting.
The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the amenities made our stay especially enjoyable. The pools and saunas were fantastic, and having access to a private beach was a real highlight. The food was amazing at the hotel restaurant!
What stood out most was the exceptional service. A special thank you to the staff and manager, who were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with arranging an early check-in. Their kindness and professionalism made a great stay even better.
I will gladly return with my family and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Balatonfüred.

My husband was here business and I accompanied him.  The hotel was in an excellent location and I rented a bike on 2 occasions to see the sites:  Tihany Abbey and Church, pleasure boat trip on Lake Balaton and a tour of the city.  The food was good and I was able to select a healthy variety at breakfast and dinner.  The desserts were excellent!  I had a great massage and used the swimming pool regularly.  In summary, I enjoyed a very pleasant break whilst my husband was working very hard in the heat!  We would definitely recommend in low season but in July and August may be more suitable if you have children!

Clean and comfortable room, a little outdated and in need of an overhaul. Quite expensive for Hungarian prices, but would stay there again. No complaints. They also handled an infestation of moths that had arrived through what I thought was a closed window very rapidly!
