Pleasant accommodation but slightly rough around the edges.
During the day staff sat outside the doorway scrolling their phones and playing their findings loudly. They were very pleasant but this was slightly annoying. The pool area was very pleasant but most of the furniture was broken or ripped. There is a fairly steep hill from the main road to the apartments which should be noted as older or infirm guests could find this a struggle.
One of the nights we stayed I was woken at 3am by the owners dog, she did apologise for leaving them out on the veranda!! Also be aware that the reception closes at night so you really need to be independent.

Health and safety breeches.
The food was the best in Grenada, as Curt, the chef is talented. However, he was moody and a bit intrusive, maybe because he spends his time openly smoking weed. He joined us when we were eating and lit up a joint!
The room was spacious as we stayed in the roof top apt. BUT there was black MOLD on the tiles in the shower, the air conditioner needed to be serviced and the utensils like the tin opener, were rusty. Not to mention an old smelly sponge that was by the kitchen sink.
The most disappointing part of our stay, was the Pool. IT IS A HEALTH HAZARD!! The water was brown and the steps entering were slimy me. The water had not been filtered or cleaned in weeks! The surrounding area was filthy,
Mrs Bishop, the owner who lives on the premises, ccould do much better overseeing the cleanliness and health and safety standards. This accommodation has great potential but the mold and the pool are health hazards!
Ps there is no beach in walking distance from the hotel!
