Excellent place

What a fantastic place. Beautiful views of the marina from our balcony. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Our bags were carried to our room
Very comfortable large bed, spotless room. Maid service every day. Just perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

Caring Service

You know the old saying: in a pinch you learn who your real friends are. We spent week 42 of 2025 in Sivota as guests at Hotel Filakas. A lovely hotel and a lovely week, with weather that couldn’t quite make up its mind. We explored, relaxed, and floated around the water at Bella Vraka Beach, goats included. They act like they own the place.
Our room sat proudly at the top of almost 100 steps. The climb felt a bit like earning a medal, but the view made us forget our legs were complaining.
Right as we were packing up to leave, both my AirPods escaped its case. I only noticed the jailbreak once we were on the plane. Back home, I contacted the hotel and Apollo Rejser, not expecting much. Hoping. They helped me right away, found the AirPods, and sent it straight to me. That is what I call service.
I am truly grateful. They get my warmest recommendation for kindness, honesty, and taking care of clumsy travelers like me.

We are very happy with our stay here. Quiet and a little laid back - at least in September

Absolutely fantastic view down to the harbor. The room was clean and fresh and with a small patio / balcony where you could follow the hustle and bustle of the harbor.
Nice and helpful staff who helped if anything was missing.
Breakfast ample - there is plenty to choose from with variations on different days.
Only negative with Sivota - there is no local bus so it is taxi that applies and it is almost the same prices as at home.

Perfect location but less than perfect hotel

This hotel is in the best position in Sivota. Just minutes to the marina and restaurants and wonderful views of the area. The rooms are Spartan to say the least- no amenities for a cup of morning coffee or tea and not even two glasses to drink from. Only one bedside lamp in our double room. We didn’t spend much time in our room so it wasn’t a big deal. Poor pressure in toilet -old fashioned ”no paper in the toilet” situation. Breakfast was a disappointment. There was such a wonderful selection of fruits in the local supermarkets but this was only sporadically served on our breakfast buffet. Dry bread and lots of small cakes for those who eat cake. Lots of steep and uneven steps to climb. Apparently, lifts are rare in this lovely town. So, some good,some not so good. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Worst service. Evil manager.

Me and my girlfriend had a late night argument which resulted in a kick from the hotel without any warnings at all. They put us out on the Streets While the “very nice” manager smiled in an evil Way to me and my girlfriend!
Being loud is not good of course, but when told to be quiet and we didnt take it any further afterwards, they came in at 10:00 to kick us out just like that. 1000 euro wasted!
Every couple argue with eachother and its more likely when u are on vacation in such warm weather. The staff have no empathy for their guests, we made an honest mistake and Said sorry and that it wouldnt go on anymore. The warning they gave resulted in an instant kick out of nowhere while we were sleeping. CRAZY!
