Idyllic.
had a great week here, the apartment afforded amazing views and was well proportioned with a large bedroom , lounge , kitchen diner and balcony. The bathroom was small and some people would definently struggle with a very small shower
The room is cleaned every day with fresh towels provided
The staff, Anna, Antoni and Dimitri were lovely very polite and helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Meals at lunch and dinner was good but breakfast was poor, the entire breakfast experience needs a massive rethink and refit, the weakest part of the visit.
the hotel provide a taxi service to the main town/harbour for a small fee, you can walk it or drive if you have a car there is car parking at the hotel
When we were there the weather was brilliant with temperatures in the high 30s, fortunately there are some shady areas at the hotel
The hotel offers a private beach with three parasols a two minute walk away with a bar/cafe across the road, beach towels are provided
The setting is idyllic , weather amazing, staff brilliant, we would definitely return

Beautiful symi
Great colonial style building in a wonderful location ? Stayed there on 19th of June till the 1st of July for 12 days in room 108 .now the good the bad and the ugly. Greatest shout for the staff dimitri adonis Mike Andy and Anna faultless that's the good. now the bad ,the breakfast in the niriides is not the best Mike's a great guy but not the best at preparing a good breakfast it's a bit poor to be truthful sorry Mike now the taxi shuttle service to symi town 5 euros each one way it should be free going and then the return maybe Pay depends on the time you return if your going into town every day it's a lot of money 20 euros a day, and about the walk to symi 30 minutes no way that's maybe has the crow flies and you have to be really fit to walk in that heat became done it took 44 minutes to the edge of town and another 15 minutes to the centre absolutely grueling . Now the bad for a superior room mmmm don't think so it was okay but pretty basic ideally maybe we should have upgraded but didn't no what the other rooms were like and this room wasn't shown in the pictures on the websites but hayho we didn't. now the shower in the room don't no what you would call it some kind of trough or ancient Greek stone square on the floor not nice and the water in the bottom filled up pretty quick and left a bad stench has for the telly phone shower head it was bad half way up the wall and no hook to hang it on and had to be held in one hand to shower and looked like it had never been cleaned for a million years see pics besides all that enjoyed our stay but would not return thanks niriides

Idyllic: we’ll definitely return.
A lovely apartment in the most wonderful setting. The gardens are stunning with lots of little locations within the grounds to sit in the shade or the sun. Ideally situated to wander down to Nimborio Bay.
It’s also has a bar and restaurant service.
It’s about 2 miles from the port which is quite a hike in the heat however the hotel operates a taxi service for €5 per person each way.
The room tax is only €5 per night - cheap compared with other islands. And, they provide free air conditioning. We are used to having to pay €10 per night for room tax and €10 for air conditioning. In our minds this offset the cost of the taxi too and from the port. It also helped with carrying bottles of water back to the room.
The towels in the rooms are changed daily. They also provide beach towels which you collect and drop off at reception each day.
Albeit we booked B&B we had an apartment which enabled us to make hot drinks etc. They supply tea, coffee and sugar sachets however we took our own (fussy)…
The breakfast was plentiful for us. The usual Greek bacon, sausage, fried and boiled eggs along with omelettes. Bread for toast and baguettes. Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit and daily pastries (whatever the baker delivered). Some couples and families were greedy (taking food for their lunch) which meant that there wasn’t always enough of the fresh food available. This didn’t mean we weren’t always satisfied with what we’d had but it’s just not what we’d do!
We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the menu was small but okay. Nothing to get excited about.
The staff are lovely. Anna on reception is very helpful in relation to helping with the booking of restaurants in the port and parts of the island to visit. Marathouda beach (goat beach) is lovely. This is accessible by car/scooter or a boat from the port.
Toli beach - we’d only recommend you go there if you’re looking for somewhere to eat with a lovely view. The beach itself isn’t good. It’s only accessible by car/scooter or private boat.
Nimborio Bay is probably the best beach and it’s on the doorstep.
We’ll definitely return.

The superior rooms with sea views are stunning ,well equipped and immaculate, beautiful peaceful location about a half hour walk into the harbour , staff are lovely and helpful, will definitely return

Niriides Hotel & Apartments
Great little hotel in a stunning location. We stayed in one of the sea view rooms & the view did not disappoint. The accommodation was rustic but kept clean with towels changed daily. Good choice of options for breakfast. We had an evening meal at the hotel on a couple of occasions but the menu was limited to mainly pasta or burgers which we were a little disappointed by so we tended to go into the main harbour town (approx 2 mile pleasant walk) , Dimitri who runs the hotel did say this menu is only temporary and would be introducing a full menu in a few weeks.
Our stay was right at the beginning of the summer season at the end of April, all the bars & restaurants were open but the water taxi services weren’t starting until 1st May so we were unable to visit some of the beaches we’d planned but the little shingle beach below the hotel was lovely & peaceful so we did make use of that.
Overall we had a brilliant stay & would definitely go back.
