Great view, great location

The stay at Stamatiou estate was exceptional. The structure is new, spotless, well organized. The private beach is nice and reserved. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the rooms large and equipped with all amenities. The Service is also great. Very convenient to take the ferry to Glossa. Would definitely stay there again.

A place to be again and again !

Staying in this hostel is truly a traveling experience! The location is fantastic in the green and on the sea with private beach! The view is unique! The rooms very nice and very clean! The hosts incredibly hospitable and helpful! The cleanliness perfect! The absolute perfection for summer holidays!

Best side of Greece

We were introduced to this place since many years and we were staying frequently with our children. We are still coming year after year because it's the kind of place where view competes with hospitality and quality of life with no obvious winner but no looser either. It takes less than a few hours after diving in the blue-green sea and sipping your wine at the balcony to forget all "important" issues left behind in the big city. Alexandra and her family have created a fine place for people seeking a place for total relaxation.
We'll definetely visit again and again for we 've seen it only gets better as time passes.

Relax and quality

Ktima Stamatiou is the best place in Skopelos that you can have a relaxing vacation and have a real taste of the local way of life, food, products and worm hospitality. Alexandra (the owner), is very professional and also makes people feel like it is her house we are staying in. She brings fresh vegetables from the garden or home made sweets every day. There is a private beach at a 3 min walk down the hill without any umbrellas or sunbeds for 6 euros or any loud music. By the way, all the beautiful beaches in the island are like this. In general, the place is the best value for money and the perfect way to know Skopelos island.

Pure Heaven

Only warning- you will need a car hire! Other than that it was the best value for money I ever got! The place is really beautiful, hidden in the forest with an access to a private beach. Rooms are great, with small kitchen inside (the couple staying above us had dinner at their balcony every night. Owner was great and very friendly, brought us vegetables from her garden and honey (make sure you buy some for friends and family before you leave) The vue is just out of this world and the common area where you can bring your own breakfast or dinner is just magnificent. The only thing that might not be for you is that it isn't that close to the main harbor/town, but the second town Laka which is closer is more beautiful and also has some dinner and more local style drinking/ greek music. It is also much closer to the island's best beaches (Chovolo/ Kastani)
