Loved our stay, beautiful hotel with fantastic staff
Our first stay at the Skiathos Princess Hotel was absolutely amazing. We've visited Skiathos many times over the years and stayed in several hotels, but we can honestly say this is the best one we've experienced.
The location is perfect, right on a beautiful beach, the rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is simply to die for! We also loved the food at the beach restaurant, every meal was delicious.
What really made our stay special, though, was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Katie, Elpida, Niki, and Giannis, who all went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. Their friendliness and outstanding service made our holiday unforgettable.
We stayed in early July and had the most wonderful time. We honestly can't wait to come back and see you all again next year. Thank you, Skiathos Princess, for such a fantastic first stay, we'll definitely be returning! Lots of Love Clive and Kirsty xxx

Dated rooms…questionable availability at reception…bidet shower broken: the technician comes in the evening with the cleaning lady to check..they flood the bathroom and leave..I dry it..the next day we find the bidet shower repaired and the bathroom still flooded..I dry it…no outlets in the room…no courtesy room..high costs even for a 5-star hotel…a stunning beach and sea save it…there is better in the area

Nice beach and hotel but breakfast disappointing.
I have stayed at the sister hotel Marpunta in Alonnisos twice and thought the princess looked good in sKiathos. The hotel is very conveniently located on the beach and it’s all very accessible with a flat path to the beach. Beach is sandy and the sea is very calm and gently slopes. The breakfast is disappointing for a 5* hotel. The meats are cheap cuts and lack variety, the watermelon is overripe and soggy, the scrambled egg was watery. I asked for peppermint tea and they brought me green tea. They didn’t have any peppermint (which for a hotel of this standard it was surprising). On the last day I checked out and asked for a bottle of water for the cab and was told they’d run out so I have to buy from the supermarket. Overall a nice hotel but it lacked some basics in customer service and quality.
Some training is needed with the team there.
The Marpunta breakfast is much nicer.

Stupid politics
Very helpful staff at the pool bar and restaurant on the beach
Although we were not guests of the hotel, they told us that of course we can eat (but Mikri can't dive into the pool)
We went down to the beach bar where we were told that we can eat but we can't dive in the Sea (the sea is a free public good!!!!!!)
Why for a set (2:persons) asked for 45 euro charge!
With respect to the courtesy of the staff, no matter was raised on our part!
Although we were not guests of the hotel, they told us that of course we can eat (but Mikri can't dive into the pool)
We went down to the beach bar where we were told that we can eat but we can't dive in the Sea (the sea is a free public good!!!!!!)
Why for a set (2:persons) asked for 45 euro charge!

Amazing hotel, staff and Location
We had an amazing time at the Skiathos Princess Hotel. Staff were excellent, in particular Christina and Katie who worked so hard on the breakfast and beach restaurant and were lovely and friendly and chatty. The lifeguard was brilliant when the sunlounger wooden head rest fell on my daughters arm and caused bad bruising and soft tissue damage - he immediately applied and ice pack and spray which relieved the pain and helped reduce the swelling. The breakfast buffet was excellent and we really looked forward to this every morning. There’s an amazing amount of restaurants nearby Kohali and Maestrali were our favourites as lovely family run restaurants. Our room was lovely and had a sea view which we booked and paid for. The cleanliness was of a very high standard. Bus stop 16 is just along the road and it’s really cheap and easy to explore the island. We loved Skiathos town - never seen so many amazing shops and restaurants and the port was beautiful. If you love Mamma Mia, then do the Kalypso boat trip to Skopelos with the chapel visit - it was excellent! If I were to give some constructive feedback it would be that we were advised 2 days before departure that check out was midday but it turned out to be 11am so we were incorrectly advised by reception. We also weren’t told that you had to pre book the late check out shower - we were just advised that we had access to this on our last day. We only found out we had to book this by speaking to another couple on the beach. So reception pls train all staff so they know! Regarding the beach - excellent sunloungers were wide with good quality cushions and were included so.didnt have to pay. We did notice that in the morning non residents asked to use the loungers and the hotel took payment from them for these. The hotel was busy so they should really be giving priority to residents at the hotel rather than renting these out to make more money as unfair really! All that said, we would go back to this hotel as it was an excellent location, amazing staff and breakfast and we had the best time. Just take note of the constructive feedback!
