A welcoming and beautiful accommodation in Samothrace!

A Guest house in the most beautiful part of the island. Great surrounding area, the estate where the accommodation is located is treated with naturality. The rooms are cozy, cared for and clean. A good quality breakfast with traditional pie is served under the plates.

Wonderful location and a great Greek hospitality

Great place to spend am authentic Samothraki holiday, quiet, very clean and with a beautiful garden. Our hosts very very kind and helpful. Warm recommendation for everybody looking for a special authentic holiday.

Samothraki is a magical place and Aigaion is the place to stay if you go there.

The place is fantastic. It's right in front of the beach, you can hear the sea from your room. The rooms are cosy, nice and clean, bathrooms clean and with natural light. You feel like staying home. The host, Giorgios (Iorgos) is superfriendly and very nice, his family is there helping with the work and are always smiling. In the morning during breakfast the father may sometime play the buzukia (out of sight but you can hear it). About breakfast, it's an open buffet, well furnished, every morning there are one or two new items. You eat in the garden, under the trees with a view to the sea and the mountain in your back. There is a beach in front of the house, with nice clean-clear water, and if you want to spend the day there there are some trees close by where you can get a bit of shade. Although you can not have lunch there there are several options close by. When you go on your left there is Therma 1km, Saoki beach 1 km, and a few spots to eat there around, and then you have Argos and Asprovalta. Except for Argos, situated among very nice trees with view to the beach, all the rest are nearly on the beach (Asprovalta literally so). We recommend having a car (there is plenty of parking space) or renting a scooter. Walking is an option but not at night (you can but it's not fun). There are a lot of things to visit (The Sanctuary -which if you get there on a full moon can be visited at night- Fonias Gorge, Gria Vathra (last two are waterfalls with small lakes, a MUST ;), the south side beaches, Khora (the capital), and lots of other restaurants, Akrogiali, Vrachos, Delfinia, Tou Stenaki, and, top among them, Karydies. and then there are many other things we did not visit, and wanted to but lacked time. Next time for sure. Samothraki is a magical place and Aigaion is the place to stay if you go there.

A Mansion feeling

Loved watching the sunrise from across the street in my pajama, loved the large courtyard and the shady breakfast garden, loved the zucchini flowers at breakfast. The small hotel has a DIY feeling, because it actually is a lot of hand work all over, that makes it cosy and friendly.
Add a turkish coffee in the morning.
