Amazing staff looked after me and my husband when we had a medical emergency.
This complex was just lovely. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, the pools were fab. The food at the next door bar ( Marietta) was lovely, amazing full English!
The staff were just lovely! My husband was taken ill on the first night and the staff could not do enough to help us. There was a genuine concern and nothing at all was too much trouble. I will be forever grateful to them as it was one of the hardest two weeks of my life, thank you!!. Amazing. Would highly recommend! Skala is lovely, just big enough but small enough to be quaint!

TUI 's Skala Eleana Studios pros and cons
Stayed ar Eleana Studios 28/6-25/6. My friend and I each had a spotlessly clean, spacious room with a balcony overlookng a well-kept garden - but also alongside an occasionally busy road especially in rush hour. Some bike noise at night. Following my pre-holiday request to TUI for a softer mattress I was allocated a twin room with comfortable mattresses which had been upgraded as part of TUI's ongoing upgrade plan. We could see the pool from our balconies. Spotless towels are provided, clean ones every 3 days. There's also a bar selling snacks, water & drinks by the pool and guests can also use the pool & bar of the sister Marietta Hotel a few yards away. My room had been upgraded including a walk-in shower but my friend's hadn't been upgraded. However after sering her room at her immediate request for an upgrade she was assured it would be looked at & 3 days later she was moved to a nearby upgraded room - this would have involved Receptionist Anna very kindly rejigging her existing accommodation plan. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the lovely staff and they were very kind to me when I accidentally knocked water over the brand new mattress! The major downside of the Eleana Studios and its sister Marietta hotel is the path from them alongside the busy road into Skala village. It is always in the hot sun and some of the path is on an incline plus some of the path's surface is very uneven & a trip & step hazard in places so it is challenging for those with mobility, breathing & other health issues. Also the path suddenly ends opposite the Marietta hotel which means guests then have to cross the road at a blind bend to get to Eleana Studios & Marietta hotel. Depending on walk speed its approx 8- 10 minutes from Eleana Studios & Marietta hotel into Skala village and another 5-10 minutes to the beach. Remember that depending on preference of activity, some guests may have to do this twice a day - that is in the day in the sun when going to the village and beach, and in the evening when going to Skala's tavernas etc. The path is well lit at night.

Very clean room and everyone friendly
Great studios five minute walk to centre of Skala, 10 minutes max to beach. Lovely clean studios with clean towels and bedding every 3 days. Use of Marietta pool and bar really good. Eleanna has lovely pool but we preferred Marietta (sister hotel) pool better for us. Lovely people and very friendly. Will return.

Lovely relaxing break
Fasted check in ever, met off transfer bus and taken straight to room with instructions to check in at reception when decompressed! local tourist tax is currently 5 euros per night payable on check in. Rooms are very spacious and immaculate and housekeeping is most efficient. By uk standards rooms are basic but everything works and for a relaxing low cost break what’s not to love!

Good mid-market hotel
The Eleana is a good mid-market hotel
Big rooms. Clean and serviced daily by diligent staff. The genuine wet room, not a flooded shower, was better than at home. Pleasant pool. With plenty of sunbeds. Bar open 10am to 2pm. Very good coffee made by friendly barmaid. The sister hotel, the Marietta is available for a livelier atmosphere for those who want it and for food. The manageress there is very competent and covers both hotels. It is where you go to get the safe key and cough up the Euros 35 tourist tax. Very pleasant to be remembered as a repeat guest. About 15 mins to the town, a bit more coming back. Skala has all you would want in facilities and good restaurants.
