Top Hotel, top service, kind staff.
This is an amazing hotel! We are currently staying here, and I couldn’t wait until check-out to leave a review.
Will share one detailed review for the ones that have lot of questions.
The rooms are very clean, beautifully decorated, and the hotel itself has a lovely interior. There is a big restaurant and very nice outdoor pools with plenty of free sunbeds, shades, and even a minibar. There is also a small gym and a ping pong table, which is a nice extra if you want to stay active or have some fun between relaxing by the pool.
We booked half board, and there is a great variety of food to choose from. Everything we have tried has been tasty, and there are also plenty of healthy options. Vegetarians and vegans will also find good choices.
I have lactose intolerance, so I always ask the staff which of the main dishes are dairy-free. They have been incredibly kind and helpful every single time, explaining what I can choose and what I should avoid. On our first evening, there were no dairy-free dessert options apart from fruit, but when I mentioned it, they immediately told me that from the next day they would make sure there was something suitable for me. And they really did!
The main chef prepared a delicious pineapple jelly dessert for me, and every evening the staff would find us at our table and bring it to me straight from the fridge after my meal. They also provided three different types of plant-based milk at breakfast, so I could have them with my coffee or cereal.
For anyone who is a picky eater or has dietary restrictions, there is honestly a lot to choose from: nuts, dried fruit, a variety of fruit jams, peanut butter, sesame butter, fresh fruit, and even candied/glacé fruit such as whole pieces of orange and other fruits, greek youghurt, honey etc. I’m sharing this because I know how difficult it can sometimes be to find enough choices when you have dietary restrictions.
Drinks like coffee, tee, water and fresh juices are included in the breakfast. In the dinner you will need to buy a drink, and the prices are acceptable (for an e.x. 0.70€ for small bottle of water.)
And for those asking about the beach, sunbeds and shades: the hotel has its own beach area right beside the sea, with sunbeds and shaded areas available. The hotel is only around 150 metres from the beach, and honestly, in this area it couldn’t be much closer than this. It is incredibly convenient, just a very short walk from the hotel to the sea.
There was an also music program in Tuesdays and Fridays.
And the staff is very friendly, polite, helpful and always available to assist you and answer your questions
Overall, we are extremely happy with our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the food is great, the facilities are excellent, and most importantly, the staff are genuinely caring and attentive. The way they took care of my dietary needs really impressed me and made us feel very welcome.

Very peaceful
Mediterranean Hotel, Olympus Riviera. 4 *
2 hour transfer with only 3 drop offs. Terrible entrance up to reception. No staff to assist. If you have previously been to this hotel you will know to walk round past the pool where there is an entrance with ramps and lifts up to level 2 where reception is.
Quick check in by very friendly staff, €10 tourists tax per room per night, payable at any point throughout holiday. Free safe, deposit refundable for beach towels,
free bottle of water, 2 tea bags, 2 sugar, 2 coffee replaced daily when they remember (NO MILK). Kettle, fridge. Soap, shampoo, body, gel and not very good conditioner ( replaced when they remember). Very soft towels. 2 large pillows per bed (YEAH). Comfy beds. Walk in corner shower. Shower head is a removable one but quite powerful. Shaving mirror, hair dryer.
Balcony (not cramped) does not have a clothes airer, 2 chairs table and Ash tray.
Wardrobe with 10 hangers, and 5 drawers, very dated but functional. Room cleaned daily if required. Plenty sockets.
Lounge/ bar: plenty of seating, prices expensive, €4 for 1/4 pint of coke. €4.50 small black coffee. No Entertainment.
Restaurant/terrace(smoking area). Not huge but tables were also set up outside and in lounge. Buffet, soup, salads, hot or cold main and desserts. Soup was mostly tomato. Meat was cooked till tender. Plenty of choice. Drinks could be paid for or added to room bill.
Breakfast, fruit in juice, cooked and continental choice.
No Bananas. Yogurts.
Pool/bar. Greek music and not loud. Expensive, barman only seemed to be busy when all inclusive were around. Small hotel shop, which sells, ice cream, cigarettes, pop, etc but NOT milk. Most people bought drinks from local ( 20 minutes walk) supermarkets to drink at poolside or on balcony.
Large cold pool, plenty sun beds/shelter and same on beach situated outside front of hotel,which are free. Only time beach was busy was Sunday . Sand is fine shingle.
Town to the left is larger than town to right, cafes, shops, kids arcades. Hotels and restaurants. Supermarkets and loads of ice cream parlours.
Greek people so friendly.

Peaceful location , near to sea with views of Mt Olympus
A good quality hotel with comfy beds, hot showers and good air conditioning. All the staff are friendly, efficient and very hard working. In a peaceful location with only a short walk to a sandy beach where you can swim in the sea without using wet shoes. There are two small beach resorts a short walk away with shops and tavernas. The hotel pool is beautiful and ideal for swimming. The views of Mount Olympus are a wonderful back drop. The only negative is that the buffet food was always lukewarm and slightly repetitive.
There are lots of things to see and do in this area but you need to arrange your own transport. We used a company called iGoHellas.com to visit the ancient site of Dion and Pantalamos Castle and to go further afield to Vergina and Pella. They also helped us to go sightseeing in Thessaloniki when Jet 2 excursions failed to turn up

Very Relaxing Holiday
Mediterranean Princess Katerini Paralia
Both flights and transfers went flawlessly, even though the transfer from airport to hotel is about 1 HR 10min these were by private air-conditioned taxis.
This hotel is definitely worthy of it's 4 star rating, the decor is modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We booked full board plus and were not disappointed. The hotel is for adults only and about 1.5 to 2km in each direction from both towns. The Hotel staff could not be more helpful and are all polite and friendly, in the restaurant Elli, Christian, Elina, Garifalia, Viola in bar and restaurant, reception Konstantinos. The meals are buffet style with great variety always fresh and hot as well as a good cold selection and if you like pastries these are to die for. The drinks selection covers anything you require at anytime during stipulated times of 10am 22pm. appart from some speciality drinks. You can ask for bottled water to take if you go walking and take drinks back to your room. The pools are spotless and there are plenty of sun loungers around, with excellent pool bar service, clean towels are provided from reception on return if required each day. We had a room with pool and sea view, which was upgraded when we arrived, the rooms are spacious and spotless, the bed linen and towels are changed on request. The room has fridge with tea and coffee making facilities, however they do not have milk in the rooms, because of limited use by dates and the temperature. This is not a problem as you can ask at the bar or reception for bottled water and cartons of milk. The beach is just a little over 5 minutes walk from the hotel with it's own deck chairs and umbrellas. There was a singing Duo on for two nights during our 7 night stay.
