Great location - quiet yet only a short walk to the town

We stayed at Venetiko for two nights in Naxos and loved it. Vangelis was an very welcoming host—he greeted us with thoughtful treats on arrival and shared the fascinating history of the building, his family, and the area. A true gem for anyone who enjoys a place with rich heritage. The rooms were lovely, and were cleaned daily. The location was in a quiet spot yet just a short walk into town. The history behind the place for a truly memorable stay.
One small tip: keep the drains covered, as we did have a couple of encounters with cockroaches. Other than that, everything great, and we’d definitely recommend Venetiko for a unique, quiet and welcoming stay in Naxos.

Sleeping in a museum, with all modern comforts

The apartments are located in a closed enclosure with several period dwellings. They are located in the old town of Naxos, a few steps from the tourist district, the castle and the port.Our accommodation was like a complete house with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom as well as a terrace overlooking the inner courtyard.
Once through the door, it is a living museum that spreads before the eyes: old stones (some parts of the house are more than 500 years old!!!), old furniture, old objects and even archaeological treasures found under the foundations of the house and visible from a transparent hatch in the floor of the room.
Without changing the place, the apartment had all modern comforts; air conditioning, safe, equipped kitchen, flat screen TV, WiFi etc.
I had some concerns about the Reservation as the property owner never responded to my two emails (one via the booking app) confirming my arrival. My doubts were dispelled when I contacted by telephone; the gentleman was directly very approachable, courteous and accommodating. He came to wait for us at the exit of the boat (fortunately because the city of Naxos is a real maze) and gave us a presentation of the places to visit while offering us small gifts. He was also very flexible to check out and allowed us to leave our luggage in the compound until the arrival of our boat.
We recommend this property if you are looking for an atypical place and an immersion in a period Cycladic house. On the other hand, the accommodation is not suitable for children or people looking for classic Pension facilities (no staff on site, everything is managed by phone especially for check out, not ideal if you go out late because you have to find your way back, etc.)

Great apartment

Beautiful authentic apartment.
Very conveniently located in historic center.
Very friendly and attentive owner.
Even beach towels and morning coats were provided.
The ladies from the cleaning came every day.
We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous traditional apartment with great host!

Amazing stay in these beautiful apartment. The host was lovely and friendly, even bringing bottles of wine from his family farm. He was very helpful whenever needed. The cleaner was also great, keeping the apartment spotless daily. The interiors were beautiful and in keeping with the traditional features of the building, yet fresh and new at the same time.
