A Brilliant New Hotel Worth Every Penny
Our stay at Tetra Kefalonia was exceptional from beginning to end. It is not the most expensive hotel on the island, but it offers outstanding value for money. The rooms with private pools and sea views are beautifully designed, tastefully furnished, and the perfect size. They were cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided for both the pool and the shower.
The hotel itself is elegant, peaceful, and run by genuinely warm and welcoming staff. We were greeted personally by the hotel manager on arrival, who congratulated me on my recent achievement, which was the reason for our trip. It created an excellent first impression. He checked in with us every day to make sure everything was exactly as we needed, and we were delighted to find that we had been upgraded to a room with a much better view.
The rest of the team were just as attentive. When we enquired about hiring a car, the receptionist returned with several options and helpful local advice. She even made all the arrangements for us. I would highly recommend hiring a car during your stay, as we completed a full lap of the island and it was one of the highlights of our visit.
Although the hotel had some ongoing building work, it was completely out of the way and caused no disturbance at all. We only knew about it because the manager mentioned it. The atmosphere remained quiet, calm, and incredibly relaxing throughout our stay. The main pool area was stylish, comfortable, and a lovely place to unwind during the day.
Overall, this was a five‑star stay in every respect. Excellent service, beautiful rooms, and a truly memorable experience. I would recommend Tetra Kefalonia without hesitation.

A truly very beautiful property but not yet completed.
The room lacked a phone to call the lobby, so when I needed help because the power had gone out, I had to go directly to the reception.
Breakfast is à la carte, quite rich, but the service is really very slow (you have to count on at least 30 minutes) and the preparation of the dishes is sloppy.
The strong points are the architecture of the property with an absolutely beautiful outdoor pool and the sea view.
There is no direct access to the sea, and it would be desirable to have an agreement with the nearby beaches, which can also be reached on foot with a nice walk.
I think a good manager would be able to make the hotel a true 5-star, for now there is only the cost.

Not as expected at all!!!!
Hotel itself was very pleasant and super quiet. Rooms very tidy and modern, staff very friendly and excellent housekeeping. A huge huge disappointment was food with very poor or rather non existent breakfast. Hopefully this would be sorted next year as really not worth the money otherwise.
Local beach was beautiful and 20 min walk or so. Sea salt restaurant was best kept secret and definitely saved our stay.

Retreat
New property, in the process of completion (but without inconvenience for guests), with low landscape impact, designed with GREAT TASTE.
Fairly spacious rooms, with a splendid patio and private pool, immersed in quiet, nothing is missing to be comfortable.
Also worth noting is a large shower area, with two showerheads. Quality linens. Free parking.
Then, if you really want to charge certain list prices, you need to "fix" a few other things. Breakfast is served at the table, not buffet-style (there wouldn't be space), in addition to a standard main dish you can choose other items from the menu (don't ask for an extra croissant, though, they are counted...), the first day I made a really simple choice, an omelet that turned out to be inedible, the following days I always opted for an exquisite fruit salad and didn't venture into anything else. Late checkout was not granted even though the property was quite uncrowded, but that's fine, what is not fine is the room for changing: restroom without keys, flooded showers, no possibility to sit down to open suitcases and get dressed. No sheltered area to leave luggage.
Room cleaning service correct but intrusive: on the morning of departure, after breakfast, we unexpectedly found the maid in the room, it took a while to get her to leave, after half an hour, still before the checkout time she entered again, perhaps she was hoping for a tip, but this is not the way...
It is also funny that the safe is not fixed to the wall...
But these are "fixable" details. I would go back, even next week.

New and fabulous property
We just returned after a week of vacation; we had a room on the ground floor with an attached private pool, very beautiful finishes and furnishings, a comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning, a well-insulated room, and a bathroom with a very large double shower, perfect for relaxing after a day on a motorcycle in search of the most beautiful beaches.
All the staff are truly very kind and sociable and go out of their way if you ask for anything; the breakfast is good with a fairly wide selection.
For management, I would suggest giving the customer the option to pay a small supplement to keep the room until the afternoon on the day of checkout.
Common areas very well designed with high-quality materials, a very beautiful common pool.
We are very happy with our stay and with the fact that, although the property is brand new, there is currently no construction work disturbing the guest. Highly recommended!
