Belle View - a gem run by gems!

We really enjoyed our stay at Belle View. It is located in a quiet area of the lovely village of Magganos. Most of the time (of our 7 days) there were just a handful of guests and we felt like we had the place to ourselves which was fantastic. The highlight of Belle View is the three hard-working, courteous and kind-hearted employees who ensured all week that our stay was enjoyable - always attending to our needs and ready to ensure everything was just so and always with a friendly smile and daily chats! The hotel owners should be very proud of their people, they are a true asset to Belle View.

Terrible experience

We were due to stay at this hotel in August 2025 but unfortunately had to cancel our reservation. The cancellation was made well within the timeframe specified in their cancellation policy. Despite this, we have not received our refund.
We have followed up multiple times via email, yet our messages have been ignored and no meaningful response has been provided. As a result, we remain €2,000 out of pocket.
This is not an acceptable or professional way to operate a business. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise against booking with this hotel.

4-star hotel ... plastic

We are a group of friends who stayed a few days in this hotel which on paper is a 4 star.
Leaving aside the goodwill and courtesy shown by the staff of 3 people (!), I must point out many shortcomings. From the day of our arrival the swimming pool was not working due to technical problems (?), the reception and the bar have a reduced time (until 19). In some cases we even had showers with only cold water. The furniture of the rooms and the hotel as a whole is from the 1970s.
A positive aspect is the location of the hotel, high enough to ensure fresh air in the evening. So the potential to make it a good structure there would be, but it seems clear the attempt to get maximum yield with minimal effort... even considering the daily cost per room.
In conclusion, to the classic question of whether we would return to this facility, the answer is of course NO.

Small jewel with sea view

We stayed at the Belle View Hotel as an intermediate stop on our Kefalonia itinerary and it turned out to be a relaxing discovery.
The hotel is very large, clean and with sea view.
The staff is thoughtful and kind (they offered us an umbrella for the day at the beach). Rooms and bathroom very spacious.
Rich breakfast, with sweet and savory.
The hotel also has a swimming pool with deck chairs: we had an aperitif watching the sunset.
Absolutely recommended!

Great experience at the Belle View Hotel

We enjoyed our 3 days early in July 2025, staying at the Belle View Hotel, while on our 21 day tour of Kefalonia.
Everything was perfect & we had a very good time.
Our room was upgraded & we had a sea view.
The service we received from the 3 staff there was excellent, & the breakfast they prepared was delicious.
We hope to return to this hotel later this year & will definitely recommend it to our family & friends.
