Excellent location, fantastic staff, but a tiny room

Hotel located right on the beach, a short walk from the old town, with a clean, fine sandy beach. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, you feel safe and constantly being spoiled. Basic breakfast, not very varied, only ready-made filter coffee. I had the smallest room imaginable, there was literally no space for anything. Old furniture, which, if rearranged, would have provided a little space. Another furniture, adapted to the room, would provide more comfort and space! The trash can was between the refrigerator and the head of the bed—totally unhygienic! The only spacious place was the balcony, where unfortunately there was no clothes dryer. I asked for one, and was told me to dry my clothes in the bathroom, on the towel rack.

Tasty Restaurant :)

Tasty food in the hotel restaurant. We ordered Greek salad, fried zucchini rolls, moussaka, and two beers. Everything was very fresh. Our total price was 31 euros. At the end, we got a small dessert—delicious!—and a glass of the famous rakija. :) I recommend it, and I'll gladly go back. I should add that the waitress was very nice.

Few customers

We were going to have lunch at the Achillies today, but then it was closed. We walked 8-10 meters away to the next restaurant, Frini Hotel. It was open here. Was greeted by a nice waiter, and got ordered. A little beer to drink, and a Chicken Snitzel. All right. Much like fast food. There was a little salad, tomato slices and fries, maybe a little bit for lunch, but okay. Affordable price. Can be recommended.

Wonderful hotel, worth repeating

Very nice, relaxed atmosphere.
The owners are terribly friendly. Speak excellent English and German. Food is fine for a good price. My single room was simple and very clean, but fine with balcony and air conditioning and new bathroom.
The hotel is located right on the beach and you can walk along the boulevard to the old center in 15 minutes.

I had an amazing time!

The hotel is right in front of the Nea Chora Beach and the hospitality is impeccable. I had a great time. It is family run, so the food is also authentic & really good. I reached earlier and they had my room ready and even offered me breakfast. The hosts were available to any questions or help. You can spend the whole day on the beach and go to the Chania Old town in the evening, which is a mere 15-mins walk. The whole stretch has restaurants and supermarkets to provide you everything you need. The rooms are bit small but that didn’t bother me as I had a lovely view from the balcony. The service is impressive.
