Sea front amazing

I had the most relaxing holiday, the staff were excellent, my room was basic but was cleaned every day..but I was on holiday so wasn't going to stay in my room all day. The food was was excellent to .. definitely go there again

Avoid

Booked a late deal, 3 night package through Jet2 Holidays. I could tell the hotel looked dated but I was shocked at how bad it actually was. Some rooms face the sea and have been modernised I believe, but we were in a room at the back, which apart from the air con (which is ten euros a night extra, controls locked away behind reception) had not been touched in decades. Some of the towels were grey with age! Tiny balcony, compared to all the other rooms. Location was good, that is the only positive.

Great getaway

We are a younger couple who felt like we needed a swimming pool but we came here and the beach and sea was absolutely phenomenal. We enjoyed it more than what we would if we had a pool. The staff and owners are so friendly and we would definitely re visit this hotel again in the future. Cannot recommend this hotel anymore as the breakfast is exactly what you would need. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay here.

Location, Location, Location

Our room was at the back facing the salt flats and typical Greek accommodation with a walk in shower. Breakfast was minimalistic continental, the nearest thing to English was a poached egg and some recooked processed meat ( Spam?) . Oats and baked beans saved the day. There is a charge for sunbeds outside the grounds but a waitress said the ones in 'the garden' were free. Food and drink is not particularly cheap although they do advertise a special offer - a 3 course dinner with no price on! Eh? There is an obsession with tidiness in the extreme. We were chided for bringing our suitcases into the foyer 'too early' when waiting for our transfer home. No curtesy room. either. The bar area has sport on tv if you ask including the footie ( Greek commentary). The hotels ace card is its location, its quiet enough, the road outside is quite busy but not a problem for us, its a 5 minute walk to the main street and just a step into the sea. Would go back but not in August as it was uncomfortably hot.

Basic hotel

The hotel is in the perfect location, it's basic and you get what you pay for. Rooms are dated but clean, not flashy. Beds are like rock, ask for a topper def helps. There is toast and greek yog and fruit for breakfast, but you have to be there from 8-9.30am so didn't make it often a preferred a lay in. However, the families with kids have no idea about being quiet so be prepared that once their kids are awake, so are you. Yelling/running down corridors from 8am, or radios loud in their rooms from 8am. Take earplugs and sleep on sunbeds later for catch up. Staff are nice. Helpful. I'd come again as it's a really cheap budget hotel, knowing what to expect. It's a base, nothing more. The beach is amazing, Alykes is gorgeous and 10min walk your in Alykanas, which is very busy and bustling but not like laganas.
Wifi is dreadful so make sure you've switched data roaming on.
