Spacious Apartments and a Truly Relaxing Family Week
Our family spent a wonderful week on the island of Karpathos, and Socrates Luxurious Studios and Apartments made the experience truly special. We arrived late to the hotel in the evening after a long flight, yet we were greeted with warm smiles. Each of us was handed a bottle of water — a small gesture that immediately showed how much they care about their guests.
We had two apartments, one large for us parents and one smaller for our two daughters, which made the stay both comfortable and easy. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and practical, with plenty of storage space in the form of closets and drawers. The balconies were large, well furnished, and offered a lovely place to relax at the end of the day. The kitchen in our apartment was well equipped and easy to use; preparing breakfast, evening snacks, and meals for our family of four was effortless throughout the week.
The hotel was spotless and well maintained: the rooms were cleaned daily, towels were changed, trash was collected, and the swimming pool was cleaned every night. The hotel also offered large water packs (4 × 1.5 liters) for a modest price of four euros — a thoughtful convenience that saved guests from carrying heavy bottles from the store.
The warm smiles of the staff and the kindness of the owner couple left a lasting impression. On our departure day, the owner personally accompanied us, thanked each guest, wished us a safe journey home, and welcomed us back — a genuinely heartfelt moment.
Socrates Studios and Apartments provided us with an easy, carefree, and truly warm holiday experience. It suited our family perfectly, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

You will feel at home...
Just returned from our vacation in beautiful Karpathos; we had already been to this property and it confirmed itself as the perfect place for our vacations..
The hotel is made up of studios and apartments, all equipped with a small kitchen, with cleaning service.
Every room has a balcony, TV, air conditioning, safe, and...the wifi is excellent!
The location is excellent, a 3-minute walk from Pigadia beach, and there are restaurants and mini markets nearby.
But the real plus is the owner, Chrisa, always smiling and available to give us information and advice...she will make you discover this beautiful island and above all with her Greek hospitality she will make you feel at home!

Fantastic.
The staff stood waiting for us when we arrived, with water bottles and welcomed us and gave us information regarding the stay. Fantastic pleasant welcome. We could ask about everything to one at any time and they always greeted and we felt cared for. Great large rooms with large balcony, washed, save up beds and changed towels 6 times a week. Great pool with shower and toilets, could buy cold drinks in the bar inside at the reception. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, walking distance to cozy small town with charming small shops and friendly staff. Nice beaches in immediate vicinity with beach bars and restaurants. If you want a quiet holiday then this is the place.

A good week
Incredibly large two bedroom apartmentee. We got a view of the sea and city. A great praise to the cleaners, clean and fresh. We never used the pool, it was five minutes to an incredibly good.
Not a good place to fix yourself when flying home late. We were not so active at the hotel so we did not see the owners to any great extent.
Quiet area, quiet street, smooth apartments. You can't ask for more.
