Wonderful vacation.

An exceptional moment.
A beautiful setting, a breathtaking view. The laid-back and perfect life that we wish to live every day. If you wish to eat/dine on-site, take advantage of it. The chef Alberto (Italian chef) is a master of cuisine. I have never eaten dishes so flavorful with so many tastes.
The hosts make us feel so comfortable that we might think we are at home.
Good information: every Tuesday is a small concert night and on Friday, pizza night (which is perfect) with concert entertainment.
Honestly, one of the most beautiful places in Crete in my opinion.
I would gladly return.

Too expensive - Just different from normal - you have to like

Price/performance simply does not match.
Excessive room rates for what is offered.
Own atmosphere, certainly good for the old - 68 generation.
Great location with nice terrace in single location.
Arrival by own car advantageous.
Rooms are very basic.

Very sad

Difficult. We booked 4 or 5 nights in this "hotel" to end the holidays. Double room. I came alone because my wife left one day before ,returning to her mother in hospital in great trouble. Casa Doria may be a nice place for a special community of guests in a nice place of course, but I felt this was a place for alternative living people . So what. I got what I booked. The staff was friendly, the rooms were not as big as the seemed to be on the photos. No problem at all.
My problem was/ is: I made a little prepayment months before, rest on departure. With a nice " off" for one night because of the first booker. 75€.
After arrival and announcement to leave possible immidiatlly the other day she told me that she would take still the whole amount of 300+.for the 4 nights
Sad...i was only one night there..she forgot the Off 75€, took the whole amount ( maybe
regular) .
I was one night there. It's not a luxury place , you have to know.The staff is friendly , the rooms very small and it is not easy to reich, eventuell by car offroad.

Fantastic place , with great view and super friendly stuff.
Full Love for people and animals.
Delicious food.
Italian combine with Greek temperament bring a great result definitely.

Loose authentic and on the quirky side

Great property and remote location without sacrificing comfort. Friendly welcoming atmosphere. Loved the open patio with great sea views, Italian twist to the menu and clean simple rooms.
They have their own style— free roaming cats and dogs, 60’s background music and occasional live band nights. Breakfast service starts at 9:30– they advertise slow. Leisurely is the pace. Would definitely return.
