One great night stay

While traveling to Igoumenitsa port town to cross over to Corfu island by ferry, after 12 hours driving I stopped for 1 night stay to Stalaktites pension in Ioannina near the lake in the middle of the mountains of greece just a short drive from greece's motorway Egnatia Odos. I did not book in advance but after a short discussion with the owner ( a very nice lady) she aggreed to take me in for a night together with my wife. Price was not high, parking was available inside the yard, room was very quiet and very clean equiped with all the necesary things like good wifi, tv, fridge, bathroom, towels and so one. I do reccomend this pension!!!

Good location

Very friendly and helpful owner. Good sized room on the ground floor and easy access to outside which is very useful when you are travelling with a dog! Spacious terrace and excellent wifi. Close to shops, cafes etc. Would happily stay here again.

Good for ,,pit stop'' !

We reserved on booking.com ,25 euro/night and we got ground floor room for this price.
The room was clean, the bathroom little bit small.
In front of the house was a big terrace.
Private parking place close to the hotel.
500 m from Perama Cave and village centre.
Good choise for one night.

Just an OK stay

The room initially allocated to us had had a smoker in it even though the accommodation was advertised as non smoking.However the owner happily moved us to another room.
The room was basic in furnishings and the bed a little hard.
The internet connection did not work for us.
Location was in a small village a couple of kilometres from Ioannina and close to Perama Caves.
The surrounding area was quiet.

Good value/money!

Very good value/money! It is very close to Ioannina (maybe 4-5km) and within walking distance from Perama Cave. The room was clean and had all the necessary stuff.
The only downside was the shower where the pressure was not as much as desired and late in the afternoon there was not enough hot water (since it works on solar energy).
Overall, we would visit it again since it was very cheap!
