Our stay here was pleasant, though there were a few challenges. We had some difficulty with the gate at arrival, as instructions on how to enter were not clear, and we were also unsure where to leave the remote control upon departure. Additionally, it felt a bit misleading that there were no photos showing the farm animals on the property (cats, dogs, geese, chickens, horses, etc.), which are very much present. The biggest drawback was the barking dogs at night, which made it difficult to sleep.
The location is excellent—just a three-minute walk to the beach. The beach itself was clean with soft sand mixed with small pebbles that were easy on the feet. Beach beds were affordable, though many had visible stains, and the bar could benefit from offering a wider variety of snacks and food. That said, the mixed drinks were delicious, and prices were consistent with what we experienced throughout Greece.
One important note: the address is confusing on Google Maps. Entering the address shows a location on Elafonisos island, which is misleading, while searching by the property name brings you to the correct coastal location.
The home itself was very clean and well prepared. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like bottled water, coffee, creamer, and laundry pods.
Gyorgia was incredibly kind and hospitable, and her efforts made our stay enjoyable.

We only stayed here for one night, but everyone in my group agreed that we would love to spend a week here. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside.

For sure, the best accommodation we rent during our 10 days road trip on Peloponese. Very functional, clean, calm and with plenty small attentions making it like a home. We definitely regret having only spent one night there!

Megris country houses are located in Magganos, in the olive trees countryside few kilometers east of Pounta and Pavlopetri. The structure has a private parking and the rooms are fantastic, with a beautiful view of the sea across the olive trees. The very Greek hospitality of Gyorgia (with super Greek breakfast) and her nice husband will make unforgettable the staying. If you travel by car or motorcycle this is the best solution to visit this area of Lakonia. Be ready to feel nostalgia.

Everything was Wonderful…. Great hospitality, delicious meals, clean, great amenities, outstanding hostess, great location, regenerating…. I cannot say one negative thing…..
I will definitely return snd recommend Georgia and The Country House without any reservations… 6 stars!!!
