Amazing rooms in the perfect village location
These rooms provide excellent accommodation in a traditional village setting. The rooms are clean, well equipped, and provide excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and speak excellent English and provide helpful recommendations of restaurants and beaches to visit and provide a daily update on which beach is best to visit. Mitata is the perfect location to explore Kythira with a lovely view and great local taverna. I highly recommend this accommodation and would love to return.

Absolutely satisfied!
Beautiful location and convenient as it is in the middle of the island. The rooms are great and the prices are reasonable. The map with the top beaches, restaurants, etc. is a great help. Every morning we received a message about the weather, the day's events and other useful information.

Immaculate Kiki's services meet unparalleled beauty.
Saturday the 18th of September 2021, sitting on my comfortable couch, sipping a steamy cup of cappuccino while dreaming of my 4-day short vacay to Kythira from the 12th til the16th of September 2021.
I am quite deeply touched writing this review right now, not only because I had a lovely carefree stay at Abramis Rooms, but because Kiki (the reception manager), Brettos (owner) and Anna (housekeeping supervisor) went above and beyond to keep me and my friend Ilianna satisfied and heartedly embraced us. And my instinct did not prove me wrong! By the time I started searching for a lodging for my trip and called Kiki, i knew that she was the one, the perfect hostess, I so vividly felt her hospitality spirit.
Upon our arrival, Kiki was waiting for us and gave us detailed directions on how to meet her. Once arrived, Kiki assisted us with our luggage and proceed with the typical check-in procedure. Though we had pre-booked a standard double kind size bedroom, we took advance of their room availability and we finally opted for a more spacious one. Kiki did not just facilitate a typical check-in. I would swear a luxury branded hotel would die to have Kiki at their team. She genially unfolded a map of the island and gladly shared with us tips and hints on how to delve into the island's local flair and provided all info on Kythira's gastronomy, beaches, sites of interest etc. If it wasn't Kiki, I doubt if we had managed to discover the island as much as we did and catch the vibe. Kiki you are such a premium destination Concierge! Appreciate all your hard work and WhatsApp communication.
In terms of comfort and quality, our room was faultless, clean linen sets of towels, comfortable bed mattress, maintained AC and lovely built in sofa bed (mattress would be described a little bit hard which i personally loved). Bathroom was spacious and super clean. It happens to have an academic hospitality profile while I work in the villa rental as a premium concierge assistant so believe me, I scrutinised the room.
The view from the room was out of this world, every morning we would wake up and have our breakfast at the external patio, hearing the echoes from the birds flying above the hill-slope. To all those readers who complain that the hotel does not have a wifi/signal, I would say that indeed the phone signal inside the room was non-existent but we had Wi-Fi and communicated via WhatsApp all the way and we really enjoyed the disconnection from the outer world, so precious and rejuvenating.
Last but not least, the owner named Brettos is the founder of "Outdoor Activities Greece" a lovely sport centre where you may visit and arrange kayaking, climbing, safari trip and various cultural activities.
We all miss you so much and we would love to meet you soon.
Thank you for taking care of us, for making our stay so memorable and making us feel so special.

Lovely accommodation in Greek village setting that is perfect base for exploring Kythira
These lovely authentic rooms are located in a village of Mitata which is at the centre of the island. This means it is in close proximity to the Port and airport and in my view this central location is the ideal place from which to explore Kythira. There is also a stunning view from the cliff top from where the rooms are located. The rooms themselves are really lovely and charming and have great facilities for a holiday including kitchen. The rooms have a lovely theme that suits the traditional village setting. This is a lovely change from your standard tourist rooms. Also a really nice touch is bathroom products are naturally made from the island. The lady in reception was also really helpful in giving advice for activities. If you are looking for the perfect base from which to explore the island of Kythira, look no further!

Very nice rooms
We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms of Abramis and it was definately worth it. The room was very nice and clean, and very comfortable. We also have stayed in one of the "traditional rooms" which was also very nice. Myrto in the reception was great giving us great tips about the island.
