Excellent and highly recommend!

I had a fantastic solo stay for one night before a cruise at The Hera Hotel. The smaller sized room overlooking the back was absolutely fine for my one night. It had a Juliet balcony and really was very comfortable! Bathroom was really nice as well! The staff was so nice and accommodating. The breakfast was extensive and in a gorgeous room. I would highly recommend this hotel for so many reasons 1) customer service 2) great breakfast 3) value and mainly , 4) location. It doesn’t get any better. Steps from Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum as well as restaurants / cafes and shopping. Very safe area. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Boutique means small in this hotel

Location good but that is all. The hotel is definitely not a 4*. It is advertised as a boutique hotel, small maybe but not boutique. The room was tiny and the bathroom needs a revamp.The rooftop bar has a fabulous view but little else. It was drab, lacking any atmosphere. Very disappointed.

Traveling in Greece with the family - Athens

Very beautiful hotel. We recommend the Acropolis view suites. The hotel's location right in the center will allow you to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Parthenon from the suite's terrace. The suite is not very big. If you are traveling as a group of three, you will be a bit cramped, and the room's air conditioning turned out to be a bit noisy, but the view and the atmosphere make up for these small inconveniences.
Being in the center, some noise from the street is inevitable if you sleep with the windows open, but the comfortable bed will allow you to rest after a day of sightseeing. Staff worthy of the hotel's level, as well as the breakfast served in a beautiful Art Nouveau room. If you are by car, the hotel has a garage but with only 3 parking spaces. Call to check the availability of the spaces, but if they were all occupied, don't worry, the hotel has agreements with parking lots immediately adjacent to the property.
We were saying that the hotel is in an excellent location, a few meters from the subway station, restaurants, and the Acropolis.
If you are planning a visit to Athens, we recommend this nice hotel.

Great location with comfortable accommodations

Wonderful stay at Hera Hotel Athens. The hotel has a charming old Europe feel, an excellent location near the Acropolis and metro, and beautiful views from the rooftop restaurant. A perfect base for exploring Athens.
