Very good but...
We came here on our Anniversary at the beginning of July,the hotel itself overlooks the harbour of Argostoli,just a short distance from the busiest area where the boat tours (and turtles) are, but this bustling little seafront section is still close enough to get to on foot in a few minutes,which is ideal if you prefer more peaceful surroundings.
We were greeted on our arrival which was well before the kitchen was closed,however we were not offered any food despite paying half board (breakfast & lunch or dinner.) which meant we went to bed the first night hungry.
The hotel is very pretty but our room (3003) was small for the £4,000 price tag and the view,while technically the side sea view advertised,was mainly of a dilapidated building facing our room.
The staff however were all exceptional,very friendly and helpful throughout,Katrina,Dimitri,Elena and the water fairy (you know who you are)
However every member of staff are true assets to the Casaly hotel and made us feel very welcome.
The pool area was beautifully clean and very well kept,but the water was very cold and people didn't really spend too much time in it during the week we were there.
The half board menu of around a dozen options split between starters and mains we found was a little limiting,so we found ourselves not taking advantage of this every night we had paid for.
Argostoli is a stunning town with lovely little streets and local areas of interest,with plenty to do however as we were preparing to leave we were hit with a €105 climate tax that Greece has now imposed on tourists,which in turn has tainted our holiday somewhat and will definitely be a consideration when we start looking at a destination for our next holiday.
All that being said,this was a very plush,very exclusive hotel with some lovely amenities,my wife had a wonderful,relaxing complimentary massage from the masseuse with magic fingers on our last day.
Definitely worth considering if you can afford one of the front facing rooms and tax.

⭐ More Than Five Stars – A Holiday We Will Never Forget! ⭐
We have stayed in many hotels over the years, but this has honestly been one of the best experiences we have ever had.
The staff are absolutely outstanding - so professional, kind, and genuinely caring. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and by the end of our stay they felt more like friends than hotel staff. Whether it was making sure we always had ice-cold water to keep us hydrated, helping us book trips and taxis, or simply greeting us with a smile every day, their service was exceptional.
The hotel itself is immaculate. I have never stayed anywhere so incredibly clean, and it is clear how much pride every member of the team takes in their work.
The food was outstanding from start to finish, including breakfast, which offered so much choice and was always fresh and delicious.
The location is beautiful and perfect for anyone looking to relax. We came here for a peaceful holiday, and the hotel and every single member of staff exceeded our expectations in every way. It honestly feels like more than a five-star hotel because of the level of care and attention you receive.
The sister hotel also looks absolutely beautiful, and we would love to visit there in the future too.
We will definitely be returning and will be recommending this hotel to all of our friends and family. Thank you to every member of the team for making our holiday so special. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Fabulous hotel and the most beautiful staff
We stayed at this gorgeous hotel 4 weeks ago and we just wanted to say a huge thankyou to each and everyone of the fabulous staff for giving us the most memorable stay .
We loved every minute ...our fabulous room, the delicious food, the spa, the cleanliness of the hotel, the location but most of all the welcome we received from Katerina on our arrival, each and every member of staff are worth their weight in gold
Keep up the good work we will definately be returning again

A week of relaxation and indulgence
We have just returned home after a wonderful 7 nights at ‘Casaly’ in a swim-up room.
From the moment you arrive the staff treat you like royalty, a welcome cocktail and iced water before a quick tour of the hotel. The small gym and indoor spa are a fantastic addition to work off the incredible food.
We had seen previous reviews regarding the quality of the breakfast, however it surpassed my expectations.
Fresh coffee made to order, eggs cooked fresh 10 ways, freshly squeezed fruit juices. A vast array of breads, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, cakes, cereals, local honey and a hot buffet selection. Breakfast is led by the impeccable host Dmitri, who will try and make you leave the hotel a stone heavier but all the staff are incredibly attentive, topping up drinks whenever your glass is nearly empty.
The reception team are always on hand to offer advice or tips on where to visit or eat and a leaving gift when checking out was a sweet touch.
I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It is without doubt one of the finest boutique hotels we have stayed in and a great base for seeing turtles in their natural environment a short walk up the promenade
