Soup to nuts AMAZING
Being a frequent Covid cautious traveler I try to source out properties that are safe, quiet, clean, and near restaurants, and convenience.
Nikolaos and his wife hit all of the above exquisitely. In all aspects.. Do yourself a favor!.
Located on a hill surrounding Batsi’s picturesque harbor Almar retains authenticity, spaciousness and a host that welcomes you as family.
Eager to share the wealth of Andros with the knowledge only a local can bring.
Our room was delightful, spacious, with a nice kitchenette, refrigerator, windows that open to allow the sea breeze to cleanse the air. We did have air conditioning but the sea was our soulmate providing all we required .Our patio was exceptionally generous with lounge chairs and a view of the town and harbor ..
Dozens of restaurants are a 10 minute walk away with a full service market if you are inclined to cook in .. Come and enjoy the true Greece

Wonderful,clean,confortable with spectacular view!
We stayed there for a week Is a very comfortable place for holidays. Has a spectacular view and all the necessary amenidies to make your holidays pleasant and joyful. Ms Moscha and Mr Nikos are wonderful hosts. Is very close to the main road of Batsi on foot where you can find bakeries, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy but is also very quiet. There are stairs at end of the road tha leads you to main road. Highly recommened is you are looking for relaxing time in Batsi but close to everything. We had the studio on 1st floor with the big veranta and the breathtaking view. The best part to start your day while enjoyring your coffee with the bright view of Batsi and ending your day by drinking your wine or tea watching the nightlife of Batsi from above.

Home away from home
As I've read from the previous reviewers we all had a more or less amazing experience so I'll cut this short.
We had the studio with the huge terrace overlooking Batsi. On the terrace there were 2 armchairs, 2 sunbeds and 2 tables, on the small one you could put your drinks while lying on the sunbeds. Trust me when I say the view never gets old.
The kitchen had all the basic stuff plus a thermo pot, a coffee maker and a sandwich toaster. The whole room was spotless clean and was also cleaned every day. The bed was queen sized with a hard matress (that can be good or bad, depending on preference. For us, it was good).
There were no insect meshes on the windows but there were also no insects during our stay so we had them open all the time. Kept the room cool too. Because of the strong winds in the area we didn't have to turn on the A/C at all!
The owners were friendly, polite and happy to answer all our questions.
Batsi is 10 mins away on foot with a lot to do and a lot to see, just be ready to climb many stairs if you want to see everything! A mini market is nearby but if you need something besides the ordinary, a supermarket is a good 15-20 mins away (on foot), which is not much but the return trip gets tiring when you're carrying stuff.
The beach of Batsi is great, especially for families with children as it is very shallow. It is also very quiet and perfect for a relaxing swim.

Felt like home
The view of Batsi, even from the ground floor apartment was beautiful. Sitting ouside in the patio area in front of the apartment felt like watching a play in an open air theatre. Clean apartment, well serviced. The hosts were great. The town is a short scenic seaside walk away.

Best view in Batsi
A wonderful place to stay in picturesque Batsi, as a base to discover amazing Andros. Unbeatable view from the balcony to the bay and a stroll away from all the restaurants, market etc and two great beaches: Kolona & Batsi. The apartments are equipped with everything you may need for a self catering holiday while the owners, Moscha and George, are -discreetly- there to help with anything additional you may need and give local tips. Greek hospitality at its best! Will return as there is more of the island to explore!
