Cozy and clean
Simple place , clean and cozy .. Convenient location halfway between north and south by way pulls all the beaches of the western area , 205 min from Zakynthos center with the scooter . Friendly and helpful staff. 2 steps from Amoudi seaside restaurant very romantic. Recommended.

Tourist Trap
Our experience at Amarylis Hotel was quite disappointing. We booked and paid for an apartment, but were unpleasantly surprised to be given a studio upon arrival. This caused significant inconvenience for our family, especially with a young child and an elderly person with disabilities. The hotel staff attributed this to a miscommunication with Booking, but other reviews raise concerns about this being a common practice.
The breakfast left much to be desired, with limited options and infrequent replenishment. It was common to find essential items missing, and the staff's response to our inquiries was less than helpful, despite language barriers. Even finding cold drinking water proved to be a challenge.
Our studio room was noisy due to street traffic, and the air conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. Storage space was also limited, and towels were only replaced upon request.
The beach near the hotel was more of an improvised space and lacked proper amenities.
To our dismay, we were asked to leave the hotel three days before our scheduled departure for allegedly not following their policies. This was a significant inconvenience and added unnecessary stress to our family vacation.
Overall, we cannot recommend Amarylis Hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable holiday experience.

Horrible experience
We had a horrible experience at Amarylis, being there with my family, including here my 3 year old son and my dad with disabilities.
First, the big surprise: they gave us a studio instead of the apartment which we paid for. They blamed Booking for miscommunication, but in reality I understand this is a common cheat practice for them (based on other reviews which I saw on Tripadvisor). No refund so far for this downgrade. This produced us a great discomfort, since we didn't have the space we needed, no sea view, no extra bathrooms, no living room, as per the description of what we booked.
Second, breakfast is miserable. Same food every day and almost no interest to refresh/refill. Breakfast is served during 8-11, but if you come at 9.30, you have no plates and most of the food is missing. There is almost no cold water to drink (both cold and warm is actually warm). They reported me to Booking for requesting a refill, even if the lady in charge with this specifically said she doesn't understand English. Very poor customer service.
The rooms: our studios were with a lot of noise from the street during the night, very hot, with old AC devices. No space to organize the clothes in the lockers. Towels weren't changed unless specified. Not even leaving them dirty on the floor was considered as a sign to be cleaned out.
The beach nearby is not a proper beach, but an improvisation next to the sea. There are only a few sunbeds at the pool and on the grass at the restaurant next to Amarylis.
Garbage and a bad smell in the halls (only one small dustbin in the bathroom). No attention to details.
We were kicked out by Amarylis with 3 days in advance, due to "not following their policies", so we had to find another accomodation short notice (again, with a small kid and a disabled person in the group).
Conclusion: don't go to Amarylis if you want a proper holiday There are far better places around.

Perfect stay with a sea view
Fantastic location, next to the beach. All the staff were very helpful with a smile and a good mood. The children enjoyed the pool and the delicious breakfast. Our room was very spacious and recently renovated. I would go again for sure

Disappointing mismatch between ads and reality
It was a pain to observe musmatch between advertised and reality. On the top - we booked sea view appartment, but got a construction view studio with sea to be observed on the terrace, only straight and staring at your neighbour's at their terrace. Low quality building- being exposed to hearing every move from the upper floor and having drum parties, when we had infants above us. Poor organisation on site - everything depends on the availability of the owner. That way hanged for half an hour on check-in and an hour for cocktails as the boss is on the way. The boss himself is a talkative person, but rather talk the talk type, as he didn't solce any specific issues we had, as the request for room change, even though we were scammed with the room paid. There is no guaranteed parking, as it is shared with the beach, though unpopular, and tge tavern Ammoudi, which is heavily visited, being top in the area. Generally an old style tourism based on lies than creating experience. I won't even think about visiting again, but the purpose of my reviews is to give you first-hand information to make up your mind.
