Fantastic stay, lovely staff, great breakfast buffet, great location and easy walk in to town or a quick cab. Very relaxing stay in beautiful grounds. Views from our room across the bay were amazing. Will definitely return.

Did not meet our expectations.

More show than substance. Newly renovated hotel, which still showed some signs of wear and tear. German guests did not seem to be welcome. Staff at the reception were rude and dismissive. We didn't even receive a bottle of water when we checked in in the evening. The dining area was very empty in the mornings and evenings. We had to set our own table and get coffee in the morning. We did not know this from other hotels in Crete. The staff just stood around and chatted. There was little variety in the food. In the mornings as well as in the evenings.
The room was large and spacious. The only positive point in this hotel. The kettle was missing.
One day, I had very severe back pain. Since it had a spa, I asked at the reception for a heating pad. The "nice" gentleman at the reception said there was no such thing and that I should go to the pharmacy. Since when does a spa not have heating pads, etc.?
When checking out, we paid and received only a "Bye, Bye" in response. No question about how we liked our stay, etc. Hardly to be surpassed in rudeness. Is the hotel supposed to be family-run? Given how empty it was, not many guests probably come. It was measured with double standards. Germans were not liked.
We will definitely not come back. Very disappointing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Crete, especially families with young children.
The staff were truly exceptional – without a doubt the highlight of our stay. Every single person was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our holiday special. They always greeted us with a smile, were fantastic with our one-year-old son, and went above and beyond to help whenever we needed anything.
The food was another big highlight. The quality was consistently excellent, with a great variety of delicious dishes that made every meal something to look forward to.
Travelling with a toddler can sometimes be challenging, but this hotel made it so easy. Everything felt very child-friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and we always felt comfortable and well taken care of.
Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay. We will definitely be back!

Excellent rooms, but the rest left to be desired.

The rooms are new, spacious and comfortable, and the location is excellent.
Unfortunately, the experience has left to be desired on some points. We opted for half-pension, but the food was very bad, with quality far below the expected. The pool is saltwater, we don't like it.
Another negative point is that the hotel charges for the pool towels, which I consider inappropriate for a hotel of this category.
We also miss a more welcoming service. The staff, especially the reception, were not very friendly or helpful.
Finally, the bathroom box was open and the water wet the whole bathroom after the bath.

An Oasis

Stayed in this hotel with my daughter for a week 22nd June onwards ….. it is a little oasis on Crete , absolutely fabulous , lovely genuine staff , super clean , comfortable & stylish , great food … can’t praise it enough , I tend to choose smaller family run hotels & this one exceeded my expectations….. Maybe 20 min walk to Elounda Village which is lovely , great restaurants, bars & independent shops . My third time on Crete , a different place each time .., my favourite so far , would love to return at some time
