Beautiful and very welcoming guest house
We went to this bed and breakfast for a three day weekend and what a beautiful discovery.
The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The services are of high quality. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden.
Welcoming Heidi and Anthony is full of warmth. The hosts are attentive and charming.
And I can't finish this review without mentioning the breakfasts and evening meals concocted by Heidi: it's delicious.

Beautiful property with perfect hosts
Had a two night stay at this gem of a place after travelling through Spain back to the UK.
The property itself has been beautifully restored and our room was a real treat as we chose the suite with a huge copper bath. We visited the local lake and tapestry museum on recommendation of the owners which we found fascinating.
We had breakfast and evening meal included which was of a high standard.
Heidi and Anthony (the owners) really do make the stay that little bit more exceptional - very welcoming and friendly - we really did feel at home.
100% recommend and would visit again if in the area.

Tour of Le Creuse countryside in September
This was my second time visiting Heidi and Anthony at Chez Jallot, although the first time I had my bicycle. I was lucky enough to be given a lovely tour of the beautiful Le Creuse countryside, passing through some charming French villages. We stopped at one of the many patisseries on route and treated ourselves to a cheeky French tart. Chez Jallot is like home from home, with super comfortable bedrooms and fantastic food. Heidi and Anthony are superb hosts and their two dogs, Coco and Poppy, are great fun. I’ll be sure to be back in 2026 for some more cycling in these very quiet, smooth roads.

Great place to stay
We received a very warm welcome from Heidi and Anthony, we shared early evening drinks with them in the sunshine and they treated us like friends
The house is beautiful and in a very peaceful location. We stayed in Jallot Suite which was very comfortable and had everything one could possibly require
The meals Heidi cooked for us were delicious
We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here and will return if we are in this part of France again
