An extraordinary experience with an exceptional and warm welcome
A place with a large garden area where you can relax. A beautiful pool with lounge chairs and relaxation chairs.
Cleanliness in the room at this magnificent guesthouse.
Breakfast included and very nice to share with other guests.
We had wonderful encounters and thank Jean-Louis with all our hearts.
We will return with pleasure and recommend Les Jardins d’Armance❤️

LES JARDINS D'ARMANCE...TO BE AVOIDED UNDER MANY PRETEXTS...
My wife and I arrived in the late afternoon as agreed and were greeted by guests who told us that the manager was probably still sleeping?
The latter arrived at the same moment (phew) and indicated that he could not give us the room because the aforementioned couple had decided to extend their stay, all accompanied by immediate use of the informal "tu" and dubious humor... Our host reassured us by telling us that he would put us up instead, and for the same price, in an adjoining studio (thank goodness)...
We followed him and discovered a studio located right at an intersection... We informed our host that we would like to swim in the pool after settling in. We therefore discovered a place with very relative cleanliness, without toilet paper (an oversight, thank God, very quickly remedied by the provision of 3 rolls as well as paper towels)
We discover right away that the toilet flush doesn't work and our host invites us to run the water by turning on the faucet and not to forget to turn it off (I promise you this is true) …As civilized people we wish to shower before swimming in a pool where leaves and insects are floating (that's still okay) …We discover that the shower has been out of order for a while and our host hands us …a garden hose with his usual peculiar sense of humor…
We confirm to the owner that we would like to have our breakfast no later than 8:30 AM, which does not seem to be a problem, and go to have dinner at a nice and reasonably priced restaurant (Le Moderne) which will have "restored" our spirits….
Act 4 continuation and end: We show up at 8:30 AM thinking the breakfast table is ready. Alas, what follows will leave my wife and me stunned…Our host seats us at an outdoor table, wipes our seats soaked by the humidity, "tosses" at first onto the table yogurts, a box of Laughing Cow cheese, a package of cookies already opened, some leftover wrapped butter (which he finally gathers on a tray that he blows on in order to clean it), serves us coffee then disappears …to get bread. After 35 minutes of waiting, not wishing to wait a moment longer, we decide to leave the place.
We take our vehicle to continue our journey and we discover, by chance, our host in 4th position in the bakery line. That was the straw that broke the camel's back, so yes, the Jardins d'Armance will have left us with a bitter taste and above all, above all, a place to avoid then…
