When we checked in the staff member was very polite and helpful with some key points. We had a top floor room with a nice view of the river and towards the city.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the air-con worked a treat as was the heat wave, bathroom was excellent and there was a safe.
However, it did lacked luggage space and the TV never worked, but it did not disturb us too much. No milk for the coffees.
Breakfast was fine, basic selection and some of the hot food looked like it had been out for too long.
We enjoyed the stay, stayed in other Hilton by Hampton and had better and for a lower price, but seemed to be the Tours rate.

Disappointing.

The hotel is excellently located but is poorly maintained with very small rooms. You notice that the maintenance staff is given too little time to clean and keep everything tidy. The air conditioning in the room did not work and made a lot of noise.
Before checking in, I had asked the receptionist what the difference was with the Hilton gardens opposite. He said that was a rather family hotel. We had to pay right away. Great was our disappointment when we saw the room. She was very dusty and smelled stale. Cancellation was no longer possible.

Nice room, hotel in good location; needs stronger air conditioning

Good sized room for the brand and level of hotel. Comfortable bed and choice of pillows. Spacious bathroom, with a nice walk-in shower. Floor to ceiling window with a view over the city, albeit a bit on the narrow side.
Very good location, on the south bank of the river at the Pont Wilson, and about a 10 minute walk to the Place Plumereau. Dog friendly.
The hotel does not have its own parking, but the Indigo parking lot is directly across the street and the lift brings you out about a 3 second walk from the hotel. (Photo of hotel exterior is taken from parking lot elevator door.)
I would have given this a very good, but the air-conditioning was not able to cool the room as much as I wanted. Although, to be fair, the system was probably not set up to cope with the heat wave.
Note that the Hilton Garden Inn is located directly opposite this hotel, and the buildings are identical.

Great hotel, with great location by the river and great 3rd party underground parking right opposite. Only issues were Breakfast, Sunday morning was Chaos, the 1 member of staff did their best, but everything was lacking, like tables not cleaned, and at any one time when you went to the buffet there was always a few things that had run out, from clean plates, glasses, Cups, ran out of Waffle batter, no tomatoes, no fresh juice, no pastries.. they would re plenish one thing only for 2 others to run out, felt sorry for them, as should have been staffed better. Aircon was weak, fair enough the weather was very hot, but the room was at best a little cooler than outside, not cold, as you could expect from a new building ran by a premium chain. Having said all this it is the 3rd time I've stayed here and would definitely stay again or at its sister hotel across the road when next passing Tours way.

Basic but decent hotel .

Decent , bare minimum hotel with all facilities . Nothing to fault . We stayed there for a night for our trip to Loire valley and couple of chateaus . Breakfast was basic and limited but it was okay with us. It was 10-15min away by walk to the tours meeting point and opposite the riverside that has a promenade .lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
