Tradition and transmssion
To return, again and again, to find in this Mas de Cacharel an atmosphere that maintains a little / big something indescribable, delicately folded in the charm of a building brushed with a plaster of lime always immaculate, of a sincere countryside reflecting so humbly the climate of such places, zigzagging between mistral, noon sun and cloud races ..
We are received by the master of the house, Florian Columbus of Daunant, discreet and always animated by a desire for transmission. Slowly, in the evening, Florian tells the stories of Camargue by the fire.. that of Crin Blanc of course.. and so many more.
I love coming back to this real land with my little girls. Teach them to slow down, observe, listen, frolic in a frank nature.
This morning the farrier was raising the horses..
Every day the courtyard is raked.. In the evening again the traces of a well combed earth ripple under our footsteps.
Come and whisper there. Places to preserve.

A setting in the Camargue
There are not many authentic and enchanting places left in the Camargue. This one is one of them,
A place where the sky meets the earth, to the rhythm of the flights of pink flamingos and the humming of free-ranging Camargue horses. A peaceful and incredible place for who is still able to grasp it. All the comforts are simple and perfect at the same time, a superb pool , breakfast under the olive trees and rooms where everything becomes fabulous just through a window open to the tamarisks and ponds. Thanks to Florian Columbus of Daubant for having managed to preserve this true piece of Camargue paradise. We come back every year with our children with always as much pleasure and emotions. This is true luxury.

A magical place, out of time and space, with a very kind staff.

The charm of this place lies in the fact that it has preserved its authenticity while largely meeting the requirements of our time.
Those who love nature, the sea and the power of silence will find an ideal refuge in this incomparable oasis.
This is not our first visit this year, and it will not be our last!

A magical place outside of time and space, with an extremely friendly staff. Florian Daunant de Colomb personally welcomes and hosts his guests, and accommodates every wish.

The best way to discover the Camargue!
After staying there for a week at the beginning of July, the verdict is final: this is a real little piece of paradise!
Unlike most similar places in the area, the owner didn’t want to give in to the sirens of modernity, no outrageous lights and Led everywhere, no noisy luxury inevitable when chasing more stars for his establishment. On the contrary, he wanted to maintain a simple authenticity, in the maximum respect of its environment, without derogating from comfort. The rooms are air conditioned, which is convenient in case of strong heat, the pool is beautiful and always impeccable, calm is sovereign...
Authentic and comfortable are the adjectives that come to me most spontaneously to qualify this place.
We're there immediately like home.
It was my first stay with them but the majority of the other guests I spoke with were regulars, some of them coming back years ago. It tells something about the Warmth of Welcoming!
Which brings us to the staff. Again, the picture is perfect. You will find a team full of spirit, humor and warmth. Seeing all these people working in this energy tells how healthy the setting is.
Breakfast is good, the small restaurant is served for lunch and dinner too. Like the place, it’s simple and yet complete, never pretentious but always better than you might expect.
Of course, you can organize great horseback rides in the beautiful Camargue, its position away from the city makes the walks immediately wonderful. You can also observe the fascinating pink flamingos and enjoy the incredible lights offered by the region.
If a need for civilization arises, no worries, it is located 3 minutes from Saintes-Marie-De-La-Mer...
