Amazing Experience!
We had a wonderful stay at Hodebert. We highly recommend the Chateau as a staging place to visit the Chateaus of the Loire Valley. The rooms are ample, well furnished with beautiful antiques. The breakfast is amazing and the setting is like no other. Ivana does a fantastic job as owner-hostess and talking about the history of the Chateau is most interesting. We will definitely return to Hodebert and have recommended it to many of our friends and family.

Our Favorite Château in France
Our stay at Château d’Hodebert was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, personal, and full of history.
Every detail throughout the home has meaning, with a deep sense of family and legacy. It feels lived in and loved.
The rooms were beautiful with breathtaking views, plus comfortable beds. Breakfast was a standout experience. Almost everything was sourced from the property and prepared from scratch by the owner. It was so special!
The owners have spent over 20 years restoring the château while raising their family, and that care is felt everywhere. Spending time with the owner and hearing their story made the experience even more special.
We’ve stayed in 13 châteaux across France, and this was our favorite. We would highly recommend a stay here.

For a memorable & lovely visit, stay at the Chateau d'Hodebert
The Chateau d'Hodebert is a lovely, enchanting, historic chateau set in a beautiful, tranquil setting. It was the perfect base for us to explore six of the historic chateaus in the Loire Valley. The room was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast, composted of delicious homemade bread as well as a variety of wonderful cheeses, jams & fruit was the perfect way to being our day of exploration. We enjoyed a dinner composed of wine, bread, cheese, fruit & pastries that we picked up locally, each night on the terrace. Our hosts are charming people who welcome you to their family & ancestral home. Our stay at the Chateau d'Hodebert will always remain in our memoires as a very special, enchanting time in our lives. Thank you so very much.

The perfect setting for a very charming weekend
We had a wonderful stay there! The setting is simply beautiful, with a castle surrounded by nature and tranquility. The room was spotless, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hosts are very attentive, always available to make our stay pleasant and give us advice on local activities. The homemade breakfast was delicious, with fresh and local produce. This is a great place to recharge! We highly recommend this place and will return without hesitation!

Vivre Dans Un Rêve
Wonderful and uniquely furbished chateau with lots of authentic and beautiful furniture, paintings, etc. Highly refined and warm atmosphere. Use of various great colours in the many rooms. Fresh flowers on the breakfast table each morning, home made bread and marmelade, fruit from the garden; everything clearly prepared with lots of love. A cupboard with polished silver in the dining room. Everything a feast for the eyes, like the lovely and very attentive host herself, Ivana.
Beautiful, private premises with two donkeys, two horses and a large pond. One can have a lovely stroll out there. It was like paradise for my sister and me. We stayed for five nights in the lovely room Pivoine. The family shows a sincere love for people and for animals; they also raised a duckling named Canette which is tame and frequently found in the small pond in front of the main entrance to Château D'Hodebert. The chateau also has an excellent website with many charming photos, videos and all the information one might possibly need.
