A real idyll
José and Myriam are loving hosts and really run this B&B with passion. For breakfast, which left nothing to be desired, José had lit a fire. The apartments are very tastefully furnished and there is also a large pool. The location of the mill in an idyllic landscape right on a small canal is romantic and unique. You can walk along the canal and through nearby vineyards. Dozens of wineries and especially the famous town of Saint-Emilion are less than 10 kilometers away and easy to reach. For visits to wineries with a tour and tasting, however, it is better to make an appointment in advance, although José is happy to help and has become a real friend to us.

Bed & Breakfast perfection
Great first impression, the place looked even better than on the pictures. High standard and everything in very good shape and clean.
The house is in the corner of a beautiful garden that is well kept by the owners. It is quite close to the small road but it doesn't really make that much noise.
Breakfast is served on the patio and was delicious both days.
The pool area is very nice with a heated pool with a massage jet and chairs and umbrellas.
The best thing about the place is the host couple who are very friendly. They helped us a lot to make sure we had a good time during our stay. They recommended and helped us book both restaurants and Wineries as well as when we needed to clean our car that got stuck in a wine field..
We will all make sure to come back again for another visit next time we are in Bordeaux.

We booked the suite, which consisted of two good size bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, the bathroom was well appointed and we also had use of a communal lounge /dining room.
Continental breakfast was included and far better than the usual obligatory croissant.
We were presented with a selection of lovely fresh breads and delicious conserves plus different pastries, the coffee was great. The tariff was very reasonable, some 390 euros, inc taxes, for 3 of us for a four night stay.
The property looks to have undergone recent renovation and was finished to a high standard. Cleanliness was second to none, the place was spotless.
The gardens, (more like a park) were magnificent, a joy, with abundant wildlife. The peace and ambiance was quite magical and made one want to linger.
Finally a mention for Fabrice, the owner, despite the language barrier he was a charming host making us very welcome and comfortable.
We would definitely return to this lovely place and stay here again. Thank you Fabrice.
