The ideal hotel for a stop in Saint-Dizier.
Travelling alone, I had booked a single room and was offered a double room for more comfort... What more can I ask for!
I'll definitely go back.

NO ROOM THEY DIDNT CARE
Arrived at 20.30 to find that there was only one disabled room which was occupied by someone else.
The hotel was not properly accessible as there was a step to get through the front door and no ramp. The accessible parking was on the road outside.
The hotel staff and owner denied ever sending confirmation of an accessible being available via Booking.com. This was a blatant untruth. They showed no empathy or care with regard to the situation there actions or lack of them had put us in.
So we were (I am disabled and unable to walk) left outside at 20.30 with no where to stay in a strange town and no help from them.
To cap this they are refusing to refuse me, saying they never confirmed a disabled room was available and they had another room for us which was upstairs with no lift. This is another untruth.
Booking.com have also been of no help at all.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Excellent stay
Everything is well maintained, the corridors smell good, the bedding is very comfortable, the secure parking is quite large, the rooms are quiet, the breakfast is simple but plentiful, with excellent homemade jam!
It’s a very well located family hotel, very close to the town hall square where we will return!

Run! Flea bag hotel: Safety is an issue
1. Next to the train station
2. A 3rd world grocery store to buy snacks, food.
3. Free WiFi, slow but gets email.
Negatives:
1. It's a dump.
2. The door lock to your room is flimsy. Hall light switch is into the hallway
3. No aircon, windows open for air makes it extremely noisy. Like sleeping in the street.
4.Room is dirty. Just gross.
5. No hot water maker, no fridge, no hair drier, used , yes used soap for amenities.
I can't recommend this hotel.

Stayed 10 minutes
The room smelled, there wasn't a door on the bathroom, just a thin curtain, the shower curtain was over a foot too long so sat in a pile on the floor, the bed had a thin, rock hard mattress and one thin pillow. This place was far worse than a bad hostel.
We didn't even ask for a refund of our €75 as we just wanted to get somewhere else, fast!
When we told the receptionist we were leaving because we didn't like the room she was so shocked it was funny!
