Central location, not far from the station and with plenty of restaurants nearby (a great Italian just a few doors away). We took our bikes as we were setting off on the Avenue Verte the next day, I’d seen bikes mentioned in the reviews and emailed beforehand to say what time we’d arrive and that we’d have bikes with us. When we arrived we found there was no bike storage but the man at reception was very helpful - said it wasn’t a problem and put our bikes in the dining room overnight. It wasn’t a big room so a bit cramped for breakfast in the morning with our bikes there too!!
The room were pretty small but had everything we needed. The hotel itself is an older building with a spiral staircase and the smallest lift I’ve ever seen (bit of fun if you don’t mind small spaces!). The outside is uninspiring but inside is welcoming, staff are helpful and the breakfast was a very substantial continental… just what we needed to start our day.

This is a difficult review to write as we only stayed one night of 3 paid nights due to the lack of air conditioning in the hotel. A heat wave came through Paris this past week with temperatures reaching 38 degrees C. It was hotter than hot and the room did not lend itself to be comfortable for sleeping or being in day or night. While many locals do not have air conditioning, it is definitely not usual for US tourists. The room was equipped with a single fan, though, but that did not cut the relentless heat.
Staff was more than apologetic and appeared to truly feel bad.
As for the location, the Jeff is located in a nice spot for beginning the day and grabbing a bite to eat. As for the hotel, the feeling is a bit different once you arrive. So, as with all online reviews, read them first. It was an expensive change in itinerary, but well worth the ability to sleep through the night.

Horrible

The hotel is horrible. During a visit in May 2026, the room was in a deplorable state: the sheets were dirty, and there was dust on the floor and walls. When I tried to open the curtains, they fell down. The room has no air conditioning, and the ventilation is very poor. I decided to cancel immediately and forfeit the cost of the first night rather than stay at that hotel. That place—if it can even be called a hotel—should not be allowed to operate.

Jeff Hotel Paris: heart of Paris, comfort on the outskirts

Centrally located and well connected, with helpful staff and fair price, but the small rooms, little soundproofed and without essential amenities reveal the limits of the structure.
The building is dated and dilapidated, but if you are looking for a practical and functional solution to visit Paris, it can still satisfy.

Very nice area, near opera, center of Paris
But no freeze, no electric pot etc.. Not conveniet.
Accetable but not so good as value of daybrate
