Perfect location, comfortable rooms; reception on the 1st floor with no elevator access.

The hotel is perfectly located, right in the Saint Michel neighborhood, surrounded by brasseries, shops, and with a great atmosphere. There is a metro stop right at the hotel door, which connects you easily to the main tourist areas of the city. Excellent value for money. The room is well decorated and is a good size. The bathroom is also comfortable. Breakfast is good (counter with toast, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, fruit salad, jams, honey, Nutella, and sponge cake; and an individual tray with coffee, hot chocolate, tea..., orange juice, yogurt, croissant, bread, butter, cheese, and cream cheese). As a drawback: the reception is on the 1st floor and you have to go up with your suitcase walking up narrow spiral stairs; not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Okay hotel for just needing a place to stay. Did miss an elevator from ground floor to the reception on the first floor. Needed to carry heavy bags up ourselves.

Insensitive attention

My experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing. I had to cancel my reservation due to a cancer diagnosis and, even presenting the situation and asking for understanding, the hotel did not show any flexibility or empathy. There was no refund of paid amounts nor the possibility of rescheduling the stay for a future date.
I understand that companies have cancellation policies, but I also believe that serious and exceptional situations should be treated with a minimum of human sensitivity. What bothered me most was not just the financial loss, but the complete lack of consideration in the face of such a difficult moment.
When we choose a hotel, we expect not only good service, but also human care. Unfortunately, in this case, I found only stiffness and indifference. I do not recommend for those who value customer service and common sense in extraordinary situations.

Everything was ok. It would be better if there was a mini fridge and a microwave inside the room , like many hotels.

Room was tight but most in Paris are. Room was clean. Staff were fine. Didn’t use hotel breakfast. No a/c but a window was available. Only issue is you need to use spiral star case to get to first floor reception but has elevator for rest of levels(tight space as is normal for Paris from our stays)
